Yep, that's just what I figured.! Dry af crushed/sliced tobacco loosely blown into cigarette tube... what's the air to tobacco ratio? I'll tell you! I've only got over 50yrs experience smoking the frikken things , my guessestimate would be at a 40% air and 60% tobacco ratio... Also the diameter of the cigarette as been so so slightly reduced but dealing with billions of cigarettes it is substantial saving in tobacco. Now added to the fact of blowing tobacco in tube, a saving of approx 40% of tobacco instead of rolling them like the old days . Now you're producing 2 cigarettes from 1. So 2 to 1 is doubling profits right off the hop... that is huge!! Now I've always have this habit of tapping tobacco down in my cigarettes. In early 70's the packing would only be very little barely noticeable... 80's came along I noticed diameter shrink, and tobacco was always dry and loose in the cigarettes, now tapping it down about an ⅛ of inch losing just a little, and the 90's and 2000 pretty much stayed the same... advance to 2010 now tapping down to ¼ inch getting really bad, present day 2022, tapping the tobacco down in my brand new freshly opened pack of cigarettes.. ½ to ¾ of an inch lost.. now damn king size cigarette after packing down the dry stale tobacco, one is losing up to 1¼ inch of the cigarette ... left with a stub of cigarette about the same size about 1½" in length instead of 3+ inches . And a ⅓ of that is the damn filter. At almost 20$cdn per pack it's no wonder black market smokes are making huge come back... you rich p monopolizing the tobacco industry for yourselves with the help of paid corrupt politicians way back in the 60's pushing any mom pop tobacco farmers of business... but that's another story altogether. The Great Rip off... same with all alcohol ... the rich high Jacked it for themselves again via corrupt politicians. Yes, it's my fault for smoking and it's also my fault for letting you and the government rip me off ... but YES you're responsible for selling half filled cigarettes ff's...! Now image you buying a gallon of paint and upon opening it you see it's only half full, returned it for another , just to find all are half filled... would you say that company knowingly ripped you off? How about doing right thing, stop cutting corners and ripping off the hard working customers...btw I've decided to quit! Not for the money but because I'm not longer getting my money worth... oh I also know not one of you guys give a flying shit or care what we the customer have to say... all about profits ... Judgment day comes for all of us regardless... just my opinion.
