  • Headway, the brain injury association, has launched a new five-year strategy focused on rebuilding lives, relearning skills, and maximizing independence for brain injury survivors as well as supporting families and carers.
The new strategy was developed through listening to as many voices and opinions as possible, this inclusive approach highlighted the key concerns and needs of the community, shaping the charity's four strategic priorities for the upcoming years.

What a beautiful vision! Thank you for doing this, Headway! My partner is a 21 year survivor of a TBI, but we live in the U.S. Will any of these services be virtual and available to people outside the U.K? We I don't think we have anything like Headway here, unfortunately.

I’m afraid that as we are a UK based organisation, we can only really offer support and advice to people living in the UK, as laws and services in other countries differ so much.
However, you can access our online services -
      Publications
We produce a wide range of publications about many different effects of brain injury, please see the full list of our publications in our Information Library here: www.headway.org.uk/about-brain-injury/individuals/information-library/ All publications are free to download.

**Please note that any reference to treatment, finances or legal services relates only to the UK.**
      HealthUnlocked
Another form of support available is our online community called Health Unlocked: www.headway.org.uk/online-communities.aspx . Through this, it is possible to talk to other people who may have been similarly affected by brain injury. Many people find this service helpful to share advice, information and emotional support. Brain injury survivors and family/carers can use this forum.
