Wow what a nightmare esp for your situation and the abnormal weather, you might want to get one or two of those caged 260 gallon containers and save water in the future for animals, i have two of them for rain water for the garden, one and a half inch rain fall and they are full from the water off the roof. That was a Miserable two weeks of weather we were below zero for over a week had to let the water drip constantly, just bitter cold on top of twelve inches of snow fall.
Yeah, it was a mess. Especially since the road crews did not have enough equipment to get to all the roads quickly. It took them 4 days to finally clear the state highway in front of my house. The county never did clear most of their roads. You must be farther north to have that kind of weather. I grew up in Montana and got my fill of that long ago.
Freek weather, I didn't like it a bit yeah Wi here we still have snow that hasn't fully melted, that's an issue when they don't plow the roads, they did a horrible job here and then at first snow it was very wet and froze into ice then the big one came on top of it @@UncleTimsFarm

They don't like it when it gets really cold, but other than that, yes they do.
