After five years straight of manual mode. And using off-camera flash for everything. I don’t think I could switch it over to aperture priority or shutter priority. I like having control of everything. Even during a wedding I’m always in manual mode. And I’m getting pretty darn good with it. Great video by the way

Thanks for the comment. I agree completely. I simply can’t use anything other than manual mode but when I try aperture or shutter, priority modes, I am amazed at how far they have come.

I think it took me at least a minute to say what you said in eight words.

Every one talks about shooting auto and Manual mode yes they and other models such as aperture priority mode witch you did not explain properly, the only way the camera sets the ISO is if you are in auto ISO. I have shot aperture priority for many years, I never used auto ISO. I set white balance, then aperture, because I don't use auto ISO I set my iso manually, now depending upon the subject I am photographing and the light available, if I need a fast shutter speed I use a higher ISO if I'm photographing landscapes I set the ISO depending upon shooting hand held or on a tripod, I use exposure comp to make changes depending if I want a darker photo or lighter photo, I find that this is the closest to manual mode with out using manual mode.
