Okay, the '89 $2 bill value really depends on the serial number and the condition, according to the this catalogue. If the black seven-digit number on the back is between 0000012 and T3067000, it's one of 900,000 bills printed, with a top value of $14 in perfect condition. However, notes from T0900000 to T3067000 were destroyed, and eight hundred extra $2 notes from that batch were saved and given out to dignitaries. Those are numbered T09000000 - T0900400 and T3069600 - T3069999. Where the '89 $2 note climbs in value is if it's graded as "CTC S11-G-Tsnr" (serial number 0022378-0596931), those can be worth between $500 for Fine, to $2500 for an uncirculated bill. Again, I'm no expert, just sharing what's in the catalogue. If you think yours might be one of the valuable ones, I'd highly suggest checking out one of the collector's clubs, either through their websites or on Facebook, and you can learn more about your bill!
Again, I'm no expert, but going just by the catalogue, that would put it just before the batch that were destroyed, so it's likely in the $6 to $14 range :( But again, with the big difference between the low and high range for '89 $2 bills, it might be worth your time to follow up with a more knowledgable source!
I have some $1 & $2:notes dated 92-96 that are misprints. They're printed off center in very good condition circulated. Serial numbers on a few have very lowl numbers with 4 zeros. Curious as to their possible value seeing theyve got perculiar misprintings
Thank you for sharing. I just took up my bill and decided to see what they are worth. Came across you video. You never mentioned the smaller bills. Are they in the catalog??
I think most CT bills are in there - do you mean the smaller denominations (one cent) or the bills that are actually smaller in size? I think those were Gas Bar notes, which were a bit smaller than the one they gave out in stores - but yes, either way, those values are in the guide.
Slap them! Where's our rewards!!!!! Pay the people you where watching in cash!!!!! Plus it dosen't cost you! It was from thier rewards from what they bought! Tell me I'm wrong! ❤
My Canadian Tire money is all wrinkley and old, like me yet I'm valuable so maybe, just maybe....my question is how many people are rabid about paying for more bills?
I had a bunch from back in the day when CT still handed it out, instead of using the Triangle app; but anything new to my collection, I've gotten off of eBay.
Fantastic content. Not everyday do we find someone who is realistically honest. So for that you gained a new subscriber & a fan of your videos.
Thanks for the kind words, and welcome aboard! :)
I had no clue that CDN Tire money had any value besides at the store

You could always put em on eBay and see if they sell, no harm in it!
Where do you buy, sell, and trade these?
