I really love Dave for this. The "hole in one" edit from Wii sports is the best joke in this video
It's funny, I I'm sure that effect wasnt in MM2, but the timing of it with the death sound is uncannily on point and has me doubting

I personally prefer the German version, which has the same audio, but just displays "Ass" (German for Ace not that you care)

To reference the title of the level, I definitely recommend Stephen's sausage roll to be added to the backlog of non-mario maker games on stream. One of the best satanic and cursed puzzle games

It only took 2 minutes to remember what i used to love about the edited videos. No offence at all to Carl's self-edits, but a good editor is always able to remind people why good editors are needed. Good work dave. 😀

Dave is great at setting me up with that jolly mood. Made me laugh perfectly in time with Carl. Now I'm waiting for the arc where Dave starts interacting with twitch chat in the video, forcing twitch viewers to double watch in order to get DAVE.
I feel like that yoshi at 6:10 could very well be the trademark meme for when carl is noticeably having the hamsters work overtime.
I played this level not too long ago. That softlock at the end was beautiful. (It got me once too.)

In these red coins setups, if you enter a section through a pipe you exit through a door and vice versa. It's counterintuitive and most people don't notice that.
I actually caught it first time through the Yoshi path. Since the second CP is in the subworld, all paths have to end up there. Therefore, doors must end in pipes and pipes must end in doors.

Carl, I love watching your videos, they keep me sane.
15:10 my thought process was "well it looks like hitting the on/off switch will release the boo, so you should obviously want to hit the p-switch instead, but you can see the outline of where the blue block would be on the launcher so that would make you want to actually hit the on/off switch even though it looks like death, which is exactly why the on/off switch will be death and the correct answer is the p-switch." Of course the level makers these days just throw in completely random and arbitrary amounts of reverse psychology so it's basically like flipping a coin every time there's a choice but still.
That ending troll is incredible. GUTS indeed.

Combining a red coin level and pick a door is kind of genius. The only thing i would change is hiding the fact that all the red coins are behind one of the doors behind completing any one of the areas

Anyone else here know that Dave had returned to edit this video by the thumbnail alone? Carl's thumbnails are very old school and have an (apologies to Carl) dated look to them. They remind me of earlier videos on this channel. The moment I saw how dynamic the thumbnail was for this vid, I immediately said to myself that Dave has returned to edit!

A section in a red coin troll level that works in both directions so you can make two doors/pipes just loop to the hub room.

You can always tell its a lizard edit when you get a zoom in on a random tile for no reason

Don't know if it is just me, but I surely think the edited Grand Poo World 3 series should continue on this channel. Trolls are great, but they aren't as new and interesting as literally the biggest rom hack in years.
