Very nice instruction it really needs to be added to the terrain modelling workflow. It simulates splines as linear segments thus giving much better control over the results. Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you, it helped out a lot! Quick Time is an alternative (but only for recording, no editing) or Audacity, if you're using Mac OS X or GNU/Linux, you can also edit your tracks or pause etc.. And I liked the ragtime part of it, too.

Tip:
If you draw the polilines/splines over the edge of the mesh, ...you dont have to give the end points an altitude.
