The PGP Application for my Parents' PR, stuck for 28 months (since Dec 2021). The Website says the Processing time is 20 months. What do you think we should do? GC Notes submitted already and the application pending background checks for the last 9 months. Also approached via MP, more than 2 months ago, same result - no decision, pending background check.

Hlo mam i have applied for a study permit on 17th October 2023 still no result can i apply for Mandamus
Can you Plss suggest me that I recvd a mail from Canadian embassy regarding my visa but as the process has been done by our agent and our agent is now not responding due to some unknown reason and without his user password we can't check the mail which came from embassy....we already sent a mail to Canadian embassy and we have very few day's left Pls tke it very urgent and suggest what shld we do then....7th will be our last day
Applied for spousal sponsorship, PR and a work permit back in August 2022. Only the latter has so far been received. The IRCC is incompetent in dealing with files in a timely manner. When our files were transferred from office #2 to office #3 there was zero communication for seven months. This is clearly unacceptable. Now apparently waiting for a security check to be done, Wonder how many months this will take.

And after that there is no update … can u tell me when will I get passport request … I mean maximum time after medical

I submitted my PR application through Express Entry on Jan 2023, its been a year and its still showing that background check is being done, and whenever I send a webform query, I will get the reply that they are experiencing high volume of applications. Is this normal or expected, and what can I do regarding this?

Mandamus itself would cost somewhere around 5000 dollars. What’s the point of getting 2500 dollars when you’re spending more than that and still getting a rejection? 😂
