It's a good review Marshall, thank you for sharing. It seems the hand writing is better recognised then in Staffpad? As you say, the playback audio is less pleasent. Congratulation having reached and passed 500 subscribers 🙂
Hi, dear Ole. Thank you for your comments. Yes, the handwriting is generally more accurate than StaffPad and the Note palette is a game changer if quick notation is needed. Take care and thanks, Marshall
Thank you for the review. I look forward to trying this app, especially since the other contenders in the music handwriting recognition department all seem to have either major limitations or longstanding unfixed bugs.
My dream would be if this app and StaffPad had a child or at least got married. I instantly saw all of the features that I have requested from StaffPad for years. Alas, the sound was a far cry from StafPad.
I agree with you that each has something we would find useful. They have a couple of in-app purchases for sounds but nothing compared with StaffPad. Thanks for commenting and watching.

Lacks the intuitive workflow and great sounds of Staffpad. This was frustrating to work with. (I edited my comment as it was a bit unnecessary harsh).
@@monalisasound3058 Entering notes and playback are on two different ”pages”. Erasing notes is much too complicated. That’s basic functions and the user should not have to think twice to find them. It should be obvious. I think you need to centralise all the playback and writing controls to the same place to get more flow in the app.

@@monalisasound3058 If you are willing to stay for the long haul though you might take some shares from the other notation apps. Staffpad is a great app but the developers are swamped with other work it seems, and much needed updates take forever to arrive.
As the other developer on Music Jot, thank you for this excellent review!
My pleasure! I’m so impressed with your dedication to this app. Thank you for your very kind comment… It goes a long way.
Martin, I never heard of you but now am subscribing. And I intend to buy this app!
Thank you for subscribing! I appreciate your support.😃🙏

Thank you, Kurt. I totally understand about StaffPad. Each app has its many positives.🙏😀

I understand and learned the basics over a six week period. It is a great app for use of the notation palette. I wish StaffPad had these features.
Just curious what did you feel was not intuitive?
