Didn't know houston, and Dallas would be so high up there. I forget how big they are and how much it has been booming. I wonder where Austin would land.
There is nothing to do here in Texas expect make money and work lol. Jokes aside, it's been weird watching DFW grow in millions of people over the last 30 years. Back in the 90s everyone here was a Texan but now all my neighbors are from all over the world.
@@danielstarr8957 yeah it irriates me. I live east of Houston in the beaumont area and it's annoying that so many people from other places have been moving in and the city is getting over crowded it doesn't gelp there's so many projects going on so there's people from out of town working there
@@danielstarr8957 also many people from out of town end up just moving there from work because it's more convenient to just live there. All these valley boys are invading
Don’t forget that Dallas needed Ft Worth and all those suburbs to get its large number…Houston did it all on its own.
(Don’t even try to include Beaumont as part of Houston)
Austin comes in at $193 Billion, should be around #66. This list uses the GDP of each city (which doesn't really mean it's the richest), but with that being said it's inaccurate and missing a bunch of cities (I couldn't find the source of the list they used)

Rhine Ruhr is made up of 9 cities! So Not technically a city but a metropolitan area.
Yes, but very "small" cities compared to NYC or Tokyo.
The Kanto region/Tokyo metro area is made of like 7 different cities too!
technically Paris is as well, depending on how you define "Paris".
the "city proper" of Paris, is a very small city, about the size of central London, however, the metro area of Paris, is a huge metropolis made of multiple different cities and towns in the region of "Île-de-France". basically the city limits for Paris are drawn very small, making the city itself a very small city, however in reality, all of the Paris metro area could be considered one single city, as everything is very close together.
and this is basically what Rhine Ruhr is, loads of small cities, that are pretty close together and well connected, and are really one single city
so basically if they treated Rhine Ruhr like several separate cities, they would have to do the same with Paris.
Every city on the list is a value for the metro area
ua-cam.com/video/4L8nGdC36xU/v-deo.html
These number definitely are the cities GDP. It definitely isn’t the cities assets. I would guess it is the value of the cities real estate. Wouldn’t the size of the city have just as much to do as the value?
these lists are always just some random numbers, out of context, if you made a list of top 100 cities with the largest debts in the world, many of these would be on that list too.
