The one where you paint a tree doesn't need translation. Your message came right across. At first I didn't realize the subtitles could be turned on. (just besides: other illnesses claim many more lives each day than this virus, yet this virus has to be handled seriously, and I trust it that our isolating ourselves is going to be enough to have it die out definitively)

shibasaki-san, the quarantine is really starting to get to me but this morning we unboxed the packages my aunt sent from dubai and found that she'd given me, among other things, a pair of canvases. that same morning a friend of mine reblogged a post about your videos, another friend told me i should paint a cat from cats when i asked, and i still haven't broken in the brushes a third friend gave me for christmas last year. so i'm taking all of these signs for what they are and i'm going to learn as much as i can about watercolour painting from your channel. thank you so much for being a comfort to me, and i wish you all the best!

If I had been taught like this when I was 5 years old, I could have drawn the school cat instead of staring at it, terrified of my inability to draw thousands of bright ginger hairs. That big cat was put on the classroom table, and we were told 'draw a picture of the cat'. I was nearly sixty - 60 - before I drew cartoon cats in a few lines. A wonderful lesson!
