Hey, what program do you use? I'm 13 and first year making beats and I use bandlab, is bandlab OK or should I invest In a paid program. Thanks and a new sub!
Oh Can you EMAGINE any song in mind or use existing vocals in a music to teach us steps by step. The process and technics involved in making beat for a particular song? I don't know if my statement is clear
When you make the velocities random like that is called “Human”-ize. You humanized it by giving notes random velocity that essentially affects the volume of that note. Giving the composition a more natural, Live Performance , Human/Real-Life feel/effect! I use the technique on my percussion and drums and any sound/sample that’s supposed to be a live instrument i.e. piano, strings, woodwinds, guitar, brass etc.
I took about a month off of music for personal reasons, but this video single handedly made me remember how to make beats. Thank you brother, you really helped me with this one 🔥🔥
I feel like this is great for making those “professional” type of beats but I noticed after it was all arranged and he followed every single written rule that the end product seemed (to me at least) kind of a bit watered down and re-used like you know the type of beats that are titled [Free] Trippie Redd Type Beat - Rage , You know what I mean?.. And also people please please don’t forget rules are meant to be broken and when done the right way and sure yea it’s for sures unorthodox asf but the most different and unique beats are done as so doing such things like F.E. ~ Thinking outside of the box doing things the opposite by flipping and switching things up like not using the metronome everytime like most producers do to make sure everything “HITS THE LINE” if you know what I mean but also ATST make sure it’s on beat ofc but yeah, I can’t forget to mention that I learned a thing or 2 from this vid that’s was for the most part pretty helpful so I want to end off on a positive note by saying this is a really good video and the way he explained everything including short cuts / tips n tricks was out of this world straight up perfect to a tee hitting the nail with the hammer type shi lolz also the beat slaps hardt !!! 👌🏻👍🏻🔥💯
This video changed my whole view on beat making. i've been trying to make beats for myself, but i always seem to miss something especially on the arrangement part. This video opened my eyes more. Thanks alot🙏🙏🤝💪💪
I agree completely, structure is the most important thing for rappers. A great beat IMO has ashort intro, 2 to 3 places for the verses, and 2 to 4 places for the hook.
If U have some new trick and tips about structuring, transitions and how to make beat more interesting by arranging pls make video about this. I think your channel is one of the best places to learn how to make sick beats rly. Peace!
my problem is not having the sounds that i want to use, i see everyone using all these different pluggins that are so expensive but i feel like we need more pluggins that sound great but are free flex is a great pluggin but it limits what you can do a lot of the time and that what my problem has been.
Yo, videos dope. Could you do me a solid and drop a link to how you hook up the autotune playback so you can kinda hear your voice and feel the melody. Thats a dope idea. Much love and thanks in advance
Most people use them for transitions. In the intro before the drums drop and during the bridge before the chorus drops after the first or second verse.
so I was following this tutorial fixing a beat I'd already started. My beat is in 109 bpm- do I still follow this structure or do I shorten it by half? Since the beat is slower and might drag?
u right about a lot of things but this is kind of a sad way to think about music like it has to be the most formulaic same every time as possible i mean i guess it makes sense if youre just trying to get a rapper to use your beat
Finna, could i suggest something? I noticed you don't look at your audience when youre doing your tutorial. If you engage your audience, it shows them you're engaging with them rather than just doing your thing. Love the tutorial, but if you look at the camera once in a while, it will do more for you as a teacher. A teacher who doesn't engage with his students is not a teacher, he is just an instructor. But keep up the good work!

Where can i get the custom bass in the video??
can we get a vid on top kontakt libraries?

Bro pls "When and When not to use risers" I doubt anybody else is smart enough to explain this properly
Most people use them for transitions. In the intro before the drums drop and during the bridge before the chorus drops after the first or second verse.
@@vh2577 MVP, but what's an example of a bad riser? Artists keep wanting me to remove risers so I end up not using any
I’m new to fl my question is when I put pattern drums and melody they not play together so how can I fix this ?

thx
this video is helpful. But the biggest problem I have is that no rapper listens to my beat, no one even knows if I have a beat
