Huge respect to the man. The reason he has all these incredibly objects is because he respects them but doesn't put too much value into them. An old Buddhist saying goes.. If you put too much emotional attachment into inanimate object, it's either going to to get broken, stolen or lost. Let the adventure continue, thanks Bob from all of us!!
We really don't "own" anything in life, Pedro. Things are placed in our hands to respectfully take care of until that baton is passed on to someone else. May you and Atlas enjoy each other's lust for new adventures. And thank you, Bob, for your act of kindness. Time to pay forward some kindness, Pedro.
This video REALLY lifted my spirits, being old with my riding days in the past, I think of you as a son that I'd be proud to have. I identified with Bob very much, and others who offered you a "ride", we just want to see "our boy" back "on/off" the road again. What a GREAT bike, there's just nothing like the right machine for the job...like having just the right tool for what you're working on. Looking forward to new adventures...my son.
What goes around comes around! Really pleased you managed to sort another bike out for your Euro trip...and what a gem it is. Bob, if you're reading this, you're a 'top bloke' (Lancastrian for a thoroughly decent fellow!)
I'm not even a motorcycle rider (YET :-) ), but things like this make me smile and make my day better + they reassure me that I should start and learn how to ride. :-) Definitely a motivation :-) Best wishes to all riders!
Bob! You are medicine for an aching soul! Thank you Pedro for introducing the world to Bob! What a man! Can't wait to see the adventure, thanks for bringing us along!
Bob thank you for your generosity so that pedro moto could keep going:) Let's Go in pedro moto accent glad to hear that again puts a smile on this subscribers face as it signals more fun adventures to come. Wishing you safe riding look forward to your upcoming videos
That's quite incredible what you have done Bob. Shown us how the world can work, as well as lifting up our spirits and put a smile on all our faces. If you've ever been here in Thailand, you'll understand that we would regard you as having earned Merit which will contribute towards your Good Karma.
@@bobdemeyer6944 Yes, I too can vouch for travel being a mind expanding experience. The last time I travelled in Belgium was December 1970 during my honeymoon. We were travelling in a hired Morris Mini Van, and had camping equipment stashed in the back. At one point we paused to take some photos (35mm Slides of course), and a kind couple quickly offered to take our photos and struck up a conversation, chatting about shared travel experiences. They hadn't been to our home town of Perth, Western Australia, but were interested in hearing about it. We soon found ourselves invited to join them in a meal, and spent a happy time making friends. That was our first experience with meeting people from Belgium, and the memory of the sudden unexpected generosity from that couple has stayed all these years.
So pedro, you have portuguees roots i guess? Well here is a story: after my military, i bought a bike , and went riding solo to portugal, as an antidote for the army, never rode a bike in my life...i came back, three weeks and 6000 km later...and i passed my own personal ridingexam, learning whilst driving.tipped the 750 yamaha over twice, shear fatigue....followed routes without highways, normandy,Bretany, le mans, dune de pilat, san sebastian burgos, porto lisboa algarve,....way back coastline of spain , into france...great loop, great adventure, motorman since then, never stopped....now bmw r 100rs....biking is a religion and life is a beach....Bob Coast Belgium⚓️🤜😎🍺
Hey dude, been saving your videos up since you left South America. That bike is too awesome, and so is Bob. Nice to hear some Dutch, so similar to Afrikaans I can understand most without the sub titles, some is just not like Afrikaans at all. Looking forward to watching the rest
Awesome. I would have lent you my Revere 650, but they dont handle off road too well. Bobs a legend with a great philosophy, try not to bend it too much!
Sweet whip. Very cool.🤩👍 Looks new. And a bonus it knows the way already Those twin pipes🤤 Bob is a legend We don't get the pleasure of seeing many of the original big adv bikes in Canada
Worddd. Yeah that's why I left that bit of spotting another Alp in the video, to slightly rustle some north American jimmies with the abundance of TA's and OG.AT's in Europa. Stone cold Honda back in the late 80's and 90's, no love for the New World.
this is so nice :) ... i hope you took them both for a nice lunch :) .. also hope, you get to ride with Bob one day ... looking forward for some new adventures of yours
Pedro... whoooohooooooo. I am exited for you and cant wait for the coming uploads. I am also an transalp fanatic. She is Pretty man. happy miles bro!!!!!! Letsa Go! Thanx Bob
Welcome back on two wheels! :D Bob seems to be a crazy guy to lend you his bike! :P I have been to Bardenas Reales in August this year! Really beautiful and absolutly not what i expected in Europe! Ride safe!
It can be done alone, but I agree with Bob a helping hand is advisable. And yes I learned the hard way 😅 If you drive over something with the backwheel it's doable. The sw-motech centerstand is real tall and have no real leverage to speak of.... weird design Good luck Pedro and again Bob you're awesome!
Good to see your mojo back bud! If you hadn’t told us, we would still thinks that’s Alp. it was fun to watch your vlogging voice modulation kick in, let’s a goooo 😂... Name changed from Atlas to Atlantis to Atlas again. Safe travels Pedro! Down to earth folks like Bob, keep the motorcycle world alive and kicking 🙏
Why am I not surprised you chose this bike!! LOL! Looking forward to watch your trip down to Portugal as I have been thinking about going the same way too!! I am giving up on SE Asia now! Europe next!
That is awesome. Love the new Transalp / Tranatlas. I always liked those bikes. Never see them in the States. If I'm not mistaken, looked like Bob had a 2018 ATAS DCT, if so, that's the same year and model I have and it's been a lot of fun on motorcycle camping trips. Pray things go well with the upcoming trip. Ride safe 🤙🏼
Hi, yes it's the 2018 ATAS DCT. The ultimate bike for me. A one-for-everything machine. But for a true adventure in remote parts of the world I would choose the TransAtlas ;-)
@@bobdemeyer6944 Yes, I love my 2018 ATAS, it is a bit on the large and heavy side, but if I could afford and had more room, I would definitely get more bikes and will in the future.

Aah the infumis TA600 center stand ^^ Don't brake your back!
Bob, nice work on the fairing. Safe journey Pedro!
Jesus christ, so it being a total mission is a feature of this stand?
The center stand is useful in case of technical work to be done. But you need a helping hand to lift the motorcycle on it. At least I do.
