Bought one for my 2021 Toyota Tundra when they first came on the market. Have it installed and like it fine. Can never be too safe, and the quality is much better than continuing to throw money away on the cheap, plastic LED pods which stop working after 1-2 months. Nice video well done!
Nothing in it's stock, unmodified form. You can snap the retaining tabs off and throw a hitch pin thru though, locking it in place. Thanks for watching!
@@richardcable79 Thanks for responding, I’ve been holding off buying it the past 2 weeks and needed this confirmation. The company says they’re working on resolving it but has no ETA.
You have a GEN1 Raptor so you don't have the cross traffic alert. For example, the current F150 has cross traffic alert. This light will disable cross traffic alert. Also, the rear back up light is not bright. It has something to do with the way it was wired. Diode Dynamics knows about these 2 issues and is working to fix them before shipping any more out.
Interesting! Good to know for folks who have newer trucks. That would be a big con for me. I heard about the wiring issue, supposedly this doesn't affect this one that I received (from the very first batch) but I have another on order for my other Raptor and that one is delayed due to that defect per an email I got last week. Hope they get it sorted since I think it's a darn good product, mostly for the safety aspect. Thanks for watching!
Do all of your LED’s fire or light up? I notice where several are out in both the red and white modes on my unit. DD tells me this is perfectly normal, but it has me wondering.
All of mine do on both this one and another that I got for my other truck. The lens does make it look like they're not all firing, but if you look at it straight on they are. Might be your issue, or you might've gotten a dud - I got one bad one out of the two I have. Thanks for watching!
Do the turn signals have any affect on it? I installed a cheap Amazon light on my ‘22 pathfinder (also 7 pin) but had to buy an extra module to stop it from flashing with either turn signal. I’m thinking of upgrading after seeing your vid 👍
In my case, not at all. With newer trucks with more complex electrical systems, that may be a possibility, but I've not looked into the pinout of this at all to know that for sure. Thanks for watching!
Are two watches better then one. 😊. Thanks for the review. Looking at this.
Always! Thanks for watching!
Just got this on a 2017 Tacoma but it doesn’t flash except for when I lock or unlock the truck with my key fob.
Yes I have the CR1
Interesting - I'd definitely hit up the manufacturer for assistance with that one. Thanks for watching!
My man definitely knows what time it is!
Time for lights! Thanks for watching!

I agree 100%, the safety aspect is why I purchased mine. Thanks for watching!
I found this informative and helpful, thank you.

Well? 7 months later how's that thing doin?
Still no problems and very happy, I run them on both Raptors. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for putting this together. Seems like it will be super easy.
Thanks for watching!
Does this light send any error messages or trailer connected messages to dashboard?
Depends on the vehicle. For my particular truck, no. Thanks for watching!
Mine should be showing up soon, thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
I’m glad to see they are finally shipping. I’m expecting the dual kit, but glad to see it’s nice and bright.
Glad you enjoyed the video! I'm waiting on my second one for my other truck...still happy with this one for sure!
Thanks for watching!
What’s to prevent it from people stealing it just wondering

Does the truck think it has a trailer attached?
Yes. And it's annoying as hell.

@@redbirdsjunkie Mine does not, since it's old enough not to sense. If you have a newer truck, it's a 50/50 shot. Thanks for watching!
@@redonKiLaus Yeah I have a 2021 F150 and think it’ll detect it. Thanks for the response!

Why you wear gloves?
To keep my hands clean, and to keep my fingerprints and skin oils from getting all over everything. Thanks for watching!
