Your way of using pan & zoom is more difficult. Apply pan & zoom 1st before cutting the video. Then switch the zoom in effect to zoom out effect. Believe me, it's cool and more easier. 👍

And after switching the zoom in and out in the second clip, change to crop rather than pan and zoom. You get a perfect alignment this way.

Really really helpful. I've used this now and it works great. Just one quick suggestion. If you first apply the crop to the section you like to crop. Then cut the video near the cropped section. You can apply the pan and zoom remembering the settings for pan and zoom. So you don't need to do the alignment step.

Actually for the part where the clip stops zooming in i took a snapshot and put it. It might take up storage unlike the method the youtuber suggested but it takes up only a little storage since it is one image you can delete it too when your video is done. Plus if you want the zoom in to be faster or slower, Shorten or extend the clip. Hope the advice helped!
