    We are missing about 50 million worth of players, back ups and starters. We need a great tight end, we need a super slot receiver. It will improve our chances when we get out from under Russell Wilson. I am proud of our team.

    I agree with Stokley on Jaleel but that has been Sean Paytons issue for two years now. If its not Jaleel its Mims that Payton refuses to use effectivelly.
    This dude has his favorites (Lil Jordan + J. Williams) that constantly see the field and just do not produce when the guys who do ball out we hardly ever see.

    Franklin was grabbed at the 30 yrd line on a no call illegal contact. Bo was about to release at that point. Can’t blame the ref but if we are analyzing that throw I took notice to that no call

  • @Larry_fm_MD
    @Larry_fm_MD 4 дні тому +12

    before blaming Bo, why not ask the question Why is Franklin the only receiver that is consistently overthrown? The Mims and Sutton and Vele passes are always perfect... is because its a deep ball and Nix has to release the ball early and Troy drifts on the route one or two steps inside or over and that causes him to be 1-2 yards under?? How is Nix ao
    accurate with Mims and Sutton but consistenly
    misses Franklin? that tells me its route running

    • @mr.waxowl9476
      @mr.waxowl9476 3 дні тому +1

      I think everyone is overthinking it. Franklin played with Nix in college so they already have qb-to-wr chemistry. It’s just a missed pass. This happens all of the time. It just happened at a crucial time.

      @Jesse-JC 3 дні тому +4

      I think you have a point Larry. However, there was an overthrown pass to Sutton when we played the Colts. During the game, even the commentators noticed that Sutton was getting fussed at for the overthrow, not Bo. Why? Because the scheme they were running would require Sutton to run 20 yards and then break to the outside. When you watch the tape, Sutton only runs about 15 to 17 yards... just enough for Bo to not notice and overthrow.
      Then, during the Thursday night game against the Chargers, Troy Franklin had another ball fail to reach him. Why? Because Troy fell out of his route. On that play, Troy and Sutton were running the same routes on the outside. They both run up about 20 yards, then turn back around and run back towards Bo. When they both went to stop and turn around and run back towards Bo, Sutton did it perfectly, Troy, however, lost his feet for a moment and didn't fully return back to Bo. When looking at the tape, you'll see that Sutton is about 15 yards down the field after he turns around and returns. Troy, however, is about 18 to 19 yards down the field after his "return" to Bo. So, the pass hit the grass. This is because Troy was 4 or 5 yards further up field than Bo realized.
      Troy and Bo are both rookies and they are both making some rookie mistakes. But, many of the incomplete passes to Troy fall on him. I mean, I still can't get past the deep ball thrown to him during the first Raiders game. Bo blamed himself but had that been Marvin Mims deep in the endzone, it would've been a catch/TD. Troy will get there.... just needs to shed the college skin.

    Funny that Stink said they should’ve done a run/pass option in overtime, and the play calling was bad! Because I thought the same thing during the game!! 👍

    Bo Nix still has some issues to clean up, but he played good enough with 3 TDs. Where is the running game? Why was Sean Payton so late to start getting McLaughlin more involved? He is the explosive RB that can open up the offense. The best rushing teams have between 24-31 rushing TDs; the Broncos only have 11 and 4 came from Nix. 7 rushing TDs from the RBs after 16 games, that's bad. It was bad last year too. This offense needs more running game to balance things and support the QB play. And despite the onslaught from Joe Burrow, Nix still made that miraculous play with Mims to set up the game-winning play on the 2-point conversion. You have Nix who is athletic, can run and jump; you have a fullback, you have Estime; just needed 2 yards. How could Sean Payton take the overtime on the road, with Burrow destroying the secondary like that?

    Chiefs don’t want the Bengals to get in. I think KC rather have the Broncos in, instead of Burrow & Co. I totally get that. The Broncos need to learn how to put good teams away. Need some more ice in veins as a unit ijs

      Only problem with that logic is if the Bengals’ first game would be at Buffalo (where they spanked the Bills in the Divisional Round 27-10 before losing at Arrowhead 2 years ago .. The Bengals have now lost 3 straight to the Chiefs). As a Chiefs fan I would rather see the winner of PIttsburgh - Houston in the Divisional … but if the Bengals take out the Bills that is a pretty sweet result too. The Ravens certainly look like the best team in the AFC but Lamar at Arrowhead in late January … i like that matchup better than Josh Allen.

    I think the offensive play calling is way too predictable; you don't have to worry about the middle; cover the line and the flats. Even the opponents have mentioned this.

    the 2 point conversion or OT hmmm, either one could have worked ,the coach has to make the call with a few million on lookers looming over his head ,if it works yer the genius if not they want you strung up. Those are million dollar decisions that he gets paid to make.have a little pity please...

    Great game Saturday night. Honestly speaking that game should of never made it to OT. Cincinnati should have won 24-17.
    The Bengals did everything they could to give that game away like they have 5 or 6 times this season.
    The throw from Nix that tied the game was basically a Hail Mary, it worked and the catch was amazing but talk about low percentage...lol, Nix was running and throwing off his back foot.
    I was impressed with Bo Nix, dude can play

    The Chiefs had the same situation in 2020 .. rested Mahomes in the final week of the season. Chad Henne got the start (Chargers won by 17). Next game was 14 days later (21 day rest for Mahomes and many other starters). Chiefs first two drives resulted in touchdowns and they kicked FGs in the next two possession and moved out to a 19-3 halftime lead. Clearly they were not rusty. Mahomes came out midway in the 3rd Q with a concussion and Chad Henne (who fortunately had started 2 weeks ago) was able to finish the game out and clinch the victory. Chiefs went on to lose the Super Bowl at Tampa that year.

      It was a very different game back then, defenses could really get after the QB and receivers and make things rough. And Peyton got drafted by the team with a 3-13 record, with a lot of problems.

    I am not buying what the Chiefs are doing. I think they’re starting them this coming weekend. Why playcalling isn’t getting better and why on earth they are not throwing to Courtland more baffles me. Courtland wins those battles yet Sean doesn’t seem to care. If they don’t go get some elite talent this off-season then it might be time for some coaches to go away.

  • @jamesbauer3215

    That hail mary throw to mims was more a great catch between two defenders than it being some crazy good throw that was all mims doing what he could to win the game and at that point payton should of went for 2 to win the game you dont go into overtime against joe burrow that was super stupid plus if it doesnt work you still have one game left to get in that should of been a easy choice to just go for the win there with how the game was going you dont want to give burrow any more chances that was super dumb. Just shows hiw syupid sean payton is he is not a great coach he is a middling coach at best he has a good resume all from dree brees being hall of fame type of qb all those years in new orleans

    Everyone is talking about Nix’s (the rookie) play in O/T and whether or not they should have gone for 2. I don’t think the “analytics” figures in putting a rookie QB under the pressure of playing in O/T. I think with a rookie QB you go for 2. It’s obvious that the pressure of O/T play affected Nix’s play.

I agree with what you said that once we started talking playoffs the scale became a different scale altogether. When you yourself raise the stakes mentioning Super Bowl YOU chose to accept the harsh grades of your play afterward

  • @pnanja
    @pnanja 2 дні тому

    Why are you bothered about KC resting for almost 3 weeks and try to bring Stokley down?
    KC already made the playoffs unlike the Broncos, who lost two golden opportunities to make playoffs like Stokely said, plus the Chiefs played 3 games in 11 days against tough teams same for the other four teams too, to get more rest for their injured players. I like Stokeley saying if we can’t beat the KC B starters we don’t deserve playoffs.
    Broncos fans should be concerned since last time Mahomes got hurt we still lost to Chiefs. And this time around reminds me of the 2006 season, where we had 3 chances to win one game to make the playoffs and lost all 3.

    What are the odds that a game is going to end in a tie? What are the odds you lose by a field goal or touchdown in OT? Yeah, do that math. I am sure you have a greater chance of losing in OT than ending up with a tie. Bad play calling in OT and time management on the coach, PERIOD. Denver had an equal chance to win this game but elected not to close the door on the Bengals so, the Bengals closed the door on Denver. Pass defense was to blame as well, too many way open receivers.
