I agree. Sometimes life circumstances make it inappropriate or nearly impossible to keep them with you. The plaintiff should have dealt with the matter when she was first told there was a problem.

Twin Falls shelter is a kill shelter, however there are several rescues that work really hard to keep that from happening. I fostered a cat that was scheduled to be euthanized the next day and adopted her two months later in 2017.

The Vet told me the shelter was crowded and after 5 days the cat would be put down. We asked the Vet to keep trying and when/if they found the owners that we would take care of the cat. She's going on 15 so I doubt the owners will want her. Although she has the sweetest temperament and is a little lady. So she is ours now and we won't let anyone else claim her.
Me too, 8 year old cats are hard to home as by that age getting insurance for vet bills is either really expensive or they just turn you down as you don't have the medical history and they don't want the risk. Plus the poor cat doesn't understand why their guardian suddenly vanished. To then want money after allowing that to happen is pretty disgusting. My current kitty is called Luna, I hadn't realised it's one of the most common pet names out there. My picture is her first day at home with me, she's 3 1/2 now and a little terror. She's quote small so she can still run up curtains and shred them etc... When I tell her no I point at her and she always comes over and uses her paw to put my finger down, apparently pointing at cats is rude 😂😂😂
