Chatham-Kent Aerial Tour

A flight from the Chatham Airport south to Erie Beach, then east to Morpeth, then southwest along the Lake Erie shoreline (Morpeth Docks, Wildwood, Rose Beach Line, Sandytown, Bates, Rondeau, Rondeau Provincial Park) then northwest to Erieau, then north up Charing Cross Road to circle around Chatham, and then back to the Chatham Airport. Flight time: apx 40 minutes. Entire flight recorded in GoPro 1080p HD. Airplane was a Cessna 172, pilot Adam Snow.

Went to Boarding School in Chatham in the 70's: The Pines..run by Ursuline Sisters...can't find it on the map now...

Thanks for posting your comment. The Pines is now a privately-run retirement home and an independent congregation has taken-over the Chapel. The Ursuline Sisters moved to a new facility on McNaughton Ave W near Keil Drive several years ago -- although I've heard they may be ceasing all operations in Chatham in the near future. The Ursuline College (Pines) high school continues to operate as always.

@@AppleBman thanks for the info..I haven't been back there since I was in 10th grade..I'm now 75..I think of the nuns and all the fun we had as boarding students..the Ursuline Sisters were lots of fun..

I hear that a lot! Canada's Chatham-Kent is in Southern Ontario near Detroit. We're about as far south as Canada extends. Great to hear from new friends in England!

not quite what i expected! We have a Chatham Kent in The UK thought it was filmed there but realised after 5 seconds of footage it was not as Chatham Kent UK is a shithole.
