Sunday Mod would be so great to see you play. It really isn't its kinda like the same difficultly as the Hex mod if just a bit harder but its really fun. Though there are some bright flashes, luckily you have the option to turn it off as soon as you start it.

I destroyed saturn in solar smash without blowing up the sun! Just go to the missile thing and put the strength and amount to the max and spam them in the same place. It doesn’t really destroy it, it just makes it not able to regenerate thus being able to destroy the rest in any way. Also, when you blow up a planet with the sun, you can freeze all the meteor looking things with the freeze ray.
by the way, tfg, have you noticed that in the 4th song, the sky is the computer bluesceen?
