  • In today's vlog we hang out at home! We start the day off with a little baby snake in our pool, we get him out and put him in the yard. Our plumerias have some leaves, which is exciting! Then Jackson is a little cutie and puts on Tim's glasses. Next we go up and get Jackson after nap time and we head downstairs to check out the storm outside. Jackson was not a fan of the wind and rain. We show you how smart the little buddy is, we've been working on colors with him and he knows most of them, we're so so proud! Next Tim has some random thoughts about landline phones in the home. Do you have one? Let us know in the comments down below! We also mail our oven control board out to the place that's hopefully going to fix it. Fingers crossed we don't have to buy a whole new oven! We end the night with dinner! We made a beef bulgogi bowl with kimchi vinaigrette, which was pretty dang delicious! We hope you had fun hanging out at home with us today! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

Try asking Jackson to place an object ON TOP of the box, INSIDE of the box, NEXT TO the box, ON THE SIDE of the box, UNDERNEATH the box. He should be able to do all of these incredible things at his age as well. Home/Weather Vlog!!🤗🤗🤗

Plumerias used to be my mom's favorite flower. Also "It's Wednesday, my dude!" Made me laugh way harder than it should have. I'm glad I'm not the only one who calls their spouse "my dude" from time to time. Lol

The snakes come in to eat from your skimmer. It can help if you empty it frequently so it's not a food source. You guys may want to consider getting a couple FrogLogs escape ramps for your pool. They are these pads that hang over the edge of your pool so snakes and frogs can climb out on their own. Thank you for saving the little guy!

      Wow! What a fantastic idea!
I didn’t even know this was a thing. The pool in Phx was made to blend w nature so it was really deceptive for the lil’ critters. FrogLogs - GREAT IDEA!!!👏🏽

Yep, snake was most likely a black racer. Completely harmless but loves to eat frogs. We use to get them in the pool all the time but the FrogLogs helped keep both frogs and snakes out.

We still have a landline but we mostly use it for faxing (I know who fax’s anymore lol, we do).
Typically the corded landline was close to the door in the kitchen because back in the day (before answering machines) you would pull into your garage and if the phone was ringing you could quickly grab it. Also most of the time the “wife” was in the kitchen and you typically had a kitchen table (where you could sit when on the phone). Before our time (80’s baby) they actually had a step stool that was also a chair that sat under the phone ☎️ and you could use it for sitting on the phone or pull out the steps and use it to reach the top shelves in the kitchen cabinets

My parents moved into this house 45 years ago, so of course it has landlines. It came in very handy when my mom started to have falls. The paramedics always knew exactly where to come. Also, this area has frequent power outages (storms, earthquakes, wildfires) and it keeps on working. I've kept the plug-into-the-wall phones just in case. They make me feel safer.

There's usually a phone jack near the tv set up in newer homes. That's where ours is. We have one in the kitchen, one in the main bedroom and one in our loft near the tv. At my parents house, it's older home and the phone is right in the crosshairs between the kitchen, living room and hallway. So you stand in the hallway and talk.

We have a landline. We have the service through Cox cable. The main phone line comes through where your cable/modem is set up in your home. Ours is by the den television. It’s a wireless that hooks up to the modem and we keep the second phone by our recliner so we don’t have to walk up to the television to answer. We only have it cause my elderly mother stays with us and not familiar with smart phones or new technology. Most of us young generation tell all our family/friends/acquaintances to reach through our cellphone.

I still have a landline cordless phone, base is in my craft room/office, with 3 linked phones in the bedrooms and living room. I don't think any of us knows the phone number. We only use it for emergency, like when the cell tower or satellite goes out. When I was young our phone was always in the kitchen with a long curly cord.

To get the right size, contact someone restaurant store. I apopka, from the intersection of 4441& 436, head west until you see Aldis. Make a left at that intersection. Store is down on the left.

I’m in the UK and we still have a landline buts it’s now a cordless phone (with answer machine ) so you can use it where you want in the house. But I must admit we don’t use it as much as we used to . X
