That beam routine was perfect this time, she stuck every movement and truly deserved her high score (9.825)
I think almost all of her deductions on beam were here jumps her back legs were very low on the split jump and switch leap but a very good routine other than that
@@chloebrowne4742 slightly bent knees in one point of the handspring too and probably lack of height on her full dismount. But it’s being very picky.

She's going to contribute a lot on beam for Alabama.
She did all the choreography look so easy as if she was on the floor.
I'd LOVE to watch a video where you discuss how it was adjusting to growing taller... my niece is a super great ice skater, and when she hit her puberty growth (shot up in height in just a few months), it left her unable to do quite a few jumps etc, cos her centre of balance had changed so much in a short period of time. A year later, and she's better than ever, but I know many young women might feel really discouraged, and /or self conscious when they grow taller, body shape changes etc, and so it might help younger girls hear who you managed it / overcame any doubts you might have head.
I personally think this is a GREAT idea, would love to see so many other girls encouraged to keep going even after growing taller.

Kudos to Whitney for continuing with her gymnastics so bravely...she's only getting better and better! :)

Yay Whit! Great job! Especially considering it was an early meet with an hour less sleep too. Your beam was excellent. You really got rid of almost every wobble. So close to a perfect routine. Your floor was great too, and I love your dance elements because you're so graceful and elegant, and it really suits your height. Vault...where did that come from? Beautiful work Whitney. That just leaves your bars. I know you've been working so hard on that as it was obviously the hardest to comeback from surgery. You know you can perform every element, so try to keep your positive mindset, just smile and stick it. I know you have it in you. Big congratulations Whit. I'm so proud of you. her vault start value is a 9.7 which is why her score might’ve seemed lower than expected. personally, i think her vault score makes sense and i can’t wait for her to upgrade because a layout yerchenko must be so hard for her due to her height
@@mandylubinski6567 I was actually implying it was a great score. I know it's a more simple vault than most, as Whit said in the video, but she performed it beautifully and was rewarded well, even with a 1st place. Yay Whitney! 🥇😁💙

This video was so awesome to watch! I have been watching since she was little and she has become such an amazing gymnast and person. Her parents have done such a great job residing her mentally and physically. She is going to do amazing things in college gymnastics!! Congratulations!

That first Vault looked so much better! Way more layed out, better speed! Congrats on achieving your beam goal! I saw maybe one tiny balance check, but it looked like you danced through it so well it was hard to tell if it was intentional or not. So proud of you! Good luck at states!

In your cold moves you can understand where your muscle control is structured and what adjustments you need to make.

Awesome beam work!!!! Very happy for you. Difficulties on bars are understandable given your past elbo issues. More numbers will help. Your eyes were incredible in this video. Wowsers! It seems like your elbo pain still happens on vault. I noticed it in the last video. I hope you're ok. I had injuries that never went away too, so I know how hard it is to deal with. Hang in there. You are inspiring and fun to watch!!! Oh, and one more thing....you didn't smile on your floor routine as you did last meet. I think it was so much nicer to see you smiling out there and looking like you were enjoying it! Keep it up :)
