I'd LOVE to watch a video where you discuss how it was adjusting to growing taller... my niece is a super great ice skater, and when she hit her puberty growth (shot up in height in just a few months), it left her unable to do quite a few jumps etc, cos her centre of balance had changed so much in a short period of time. A year later, and she's better than ever, but I know many young women might feel really discouraged, and /or self conscious when they grow taller, body shape changes etc, and so it might help younger girls hear who you managed it / overcame any doubts you might have head.

Your floor was great too, and I love your dance elements because you're so graceful and elegant, and it really suits your height. Vault...where did that come from? Beautiful work Whitney. That just leaves your bars. I know you've been working so hard on that as it was obviously the hardest to comeback from surgery. You know you can perform every element, so try to keep your positive mindset, just smile and stick it. I know you have it in you. Big congratulations Whit. I'm so proud of you. her vault start value is a 9.7 which is why her score might’ve seemed lower than expected. personally, i think her vault score makes sense and i can’t wait for her to upgrade because a layout yerchenko must be so hard for her due to her height

Stretch, keep your body warm and succeed. In your cold moves you can understand where your muscle control is structured and what adjustments you need to make.

@@MariahCoco the thing is Skinner was already an elite. She started elite at 13 or 14. Whitney is 17. Also she would have to qualify for elite first and get a bunch of skills in a VERY short amount of time. It's just not realistic.

I am not one of the people who have been following her forever, so I'm not really invested emotionally, but I have been watching the last few meets, and I was really impressed here. Bars I can forgive. I would assume the elbow issues would effect that event the most so I can see her not being completely confident in going aggressive on the new bail and the dismount. Beam, basically Bama line-up ready. I wish she got more height in the dismount, but it's still gorgeous. Floor she's lovely. The positions and choreography are really pretty. It's my dream to see her add 1/2 twist to the Rudi and make it a Tarasevich. I'd also love the last pass to be a 1 1/2 + front LO 1/2 + punch into a big beautiful split jump or ring jump. Her vault seemed to have way more power. It seemed more dynamic than last time. I love Bama. I have for years and I really am looking forward to see how she contributes and grows there. Go Whit-Whit. Go.

Just so graceful ; and every time I get that notification on my phone , I can’t help but look at clock , and ya know how long 15 minutes takes especially when you keep looking at the time clock to punch out ! Feels like hours ! Or if Looks like the hands on the clock aren’t moving ! Well that’s to much to Texas for a comment ! 😊 bottom line is , your legs go from there to there ! Hey girl don’t analyze that ! In high school; we all had sayings ! When I said legs from there I would point to my mid torso ! Get it that meant your legs are so long that they went from your feet to your chest ! Lol that’s all I meant

I personally think this is a GREAT idea, would love to see so many other girls encouraged to keep going even after growing taller.
