Hello, How did you apply 30 and 75 as the DL and LL in floor loads. please explain, I am a new user to midas. 16mins and 19 secs. Thanks!!
Hello, can I ask how do you consider the eccentricity between stiffness and masses centre and the accidental eccentricity?
I use it more, how can I find all your video about MIDAS
Thanks for this video. May I ask, in the Response Spectrum load cases why did you use a Scale Factor of 0.125? 25mins and 25 seconds. Thanks
It was from Ie/R, where R = 8 from modification coefficient, and Ie = 1 from building risk category.
@@desertelang And, Why did he use later the 1.48 factor for RX direction for Response Spectrum Combination and 1.00 for RY direction?
Can you tell me from the video when it shows that value?. @@alrogodi
@@desertelang It is at 29:30 of the video (Scale Up of Response Spectrum Load Cases, Scale Up Factor = 1.48 in RX)
Oh, it's because the base shear from static earthquake in X direction is 1.48 higher than the base shear from dynamic response spectrum earthquake X , and for Y direction, probably the static earthquake is lower or have the same value. @@alrogodi
how do you measure from node to node?? or distance of an element
In the beam design is hidden . I can't select it , how can I make it to select
You need to run it all before.
