The aerial shots, especially like that around the 7:720 mark from the side, were really cool to watch. I like the twin tracked tractors for some reason. Versatile oughta bring one out too.
I moved from Champaign,IL to Savannah,GA. a couple of years ago. No more beautiful corn and soybean fields, but we do have a couple of alligator farms. PS: I miss the Gibson City Drive-Inn too.
I love modern tech that allows for those straight rows and the tractor to follow them in the spring. After watching this video, I may have to call my buddy in Idaho and see if he needs a little help this spring. :-)
Awesome video Mike from Kincaid IL, yes just corn & beans around here and that's very different for me as I moved here 2years ago from Eastern NC where many different type crops are grown
We run an 8r40 strip till ahead of cotton starting in March, plant in may, and do about 250 acres every year, though we’ll be getting another 120 either this year or next to till for cotton as well
Very cool to see, I work for a company in East Central Kansas that has two Kuhn gladiators One is a 16 row and one is 12 row both set up on 30 inch Rows And both apply NH3 as well as dry fertilizer.
As we’ve only ever strip tilled or straight no tilled our cotton in I can’t tell for everything but in our farming operation we strip till cotton into wheat cover crop and the strip till only takes out the wheat in that row.
Would love the money for the tractor. I got 5 acres that needs tending it would make it much easier. PS Know any organizations that would donate to a veteran?
Awesome to see a video from you again👍😉 always great to see action in the field😁👍
That is one good looking tractor and strip till machine!!🤣🤣 Always enjoy your videos Mike👍

Amazing equipment 👌
Beautiful John Deere!
Loved hearing the raw sound of the tractor and equipment vs music over.

Nice video I live 20 minutes from Gibson City in Cissna Park, Illinois
That versatile 460 with the LSW tires would look damn good on that strip-till machine
I’m a commercial sprayer in the area and i knew I recognized that farmstead! I’ve sprayed this field lol

👍👍
What are the advantages of this compared to furrow ploughing, chisel plowing or cultivation on the whole surface?

Does that wheat serve as a fertilizer or for keeping moisture in the ground?
@@lileti2199 we use it for keeping the dust from blowing and keep the weeds down but can’t really tell you how that one works past it seems to
U have any videos of like 9r’s or mt975e’s on lsw super singles?
No I don't.
You probably won’t see many other than at shows because narrow duals or triples tend to be easier to afford.
Love the videos, Was wondering what's the nitrogen source??
Love that rig. Sounds like the tractor has dropped an injector, though!?
Nope that's the way the 15L Cummins Engines sound.
Very nicely done video. Does your drone record sound or how do you get tractor sound with drone vid?
