15:14 I kinda know what you mean, I think one of the best examples was the 2019/20 Philly team I think people's consensus was that Ben Simmons was the best defender on the team but Embiid was by far the most impactful player for their defense. I don't know if that means people should've just called Embiid the better defender but I think it's that perimeter defense itself is just less impactful than rim protection but it also seems much harder, even more so in today's perimeter oriented NBA with superstar guards and no dominant center on 28/30 teams, so someone being able to lock up superstar guards like Simmons or OG Anunoby is more *impressive* Also that perimeter defenders are only responsible for their guy but rim protectors cover everyone. When Simmons locked up his guy but Seth Curry or Tobias Harris got beat off the dribble or on backdoor cuts and got to the rim, Embiid not being there made it a layup line, so their defense was still bad. A great perimeter defender in a team with no other defensive weaknesses or with a great defensive center can raise a team's defensive ceiling, rim protectors can turn a great perimeter defense into a godly one (like Gobert last year) or keep a team of bad perimeter defenders afloat (like Gobert in Utah or Embiid past years)
I think there are GMs that have a vision for what position a player is, maybe specially on their scouting report for their team-fit. Like Doncic isn’t a forward, but maybe on a team that already has a point guard or shooting guard, he would be a forward. The Jaylen Brown for MVP thing seems like a GM trying to stir the pot and start something between Tatum and Brown, which has been a theme this past year.

I think Stephon Castle will probably be the best player in 5 years. Maybe Edey or Risacher. I don't think Risacher is a future star as much as like a super #3/maybe #2 in his prime, but I think he's going to absolutely be on that "highest basketball IQ" list in future GM surveys. I think he's a solid talent in his own right but his ability to figure out 5v5 spacing was remarkable and while he slowly handled an increased role in his first pro season, I think the best thing he showed yet was that he *doesn't really make mistakes*. Absolutely ridiculous for a rookie in a top pro league of any level. He's probably going to make a few as an NBA rookie because the NBA is tough to adjust to but 4 years down the line, I think he's going to be the benchmark of smart play on both ends. I'm kinda excited for Atlanta (even tho I'm a Knicks fan) and the luck they had with the #1 pick in this year of all years, because even though there wasn't any clear cut superstar, they didn't really need one.
