- Not the most competitive record to grab, but certainly a fun and challenging one. This is the first recorded run with my new equipment, and so far it is going very well. Enjoy my most optimized lap of Happogahara to date. (Of course, there is always room for improvement ;))

Huge angled drift is really popular in the community and it damn sure looks good. But this fast minimum counter-steer drifting is real tight!!!!!!!

Jokes aside, isn't Fujiwara Zone considered to be a grip related thing? Coming in with a corner with a perfect amount of throttle.

nah but fr, it's really a joy to see how well you communicate with the 86, you really drive it like it's meant to be driven. great run, makes me want loadcell brakes
lemme tell you, the loadcell brakes are absolutely worth it if you're thinking of investing in them. upgrading from my g920 pedals, the performance is really night & day.

Question - I just got back into ac (first time on pc) would you mind sharing your wheel settings (I’m on a T300RS GT)?
Countersteer is fairly difficult for me to get (exits) just right, it’s snappy and difficult to control on throttle. But maybe it’s all due to needing more practice and driving less like an ape, idk
Don't fully countersteer, instead of drifting with the intent of saving every spinouts just drift and let yourself spinout until you memorize the pattern of the car

I can tell you've spent hours of practice some of tbose lines had 0 room for error
four wheel drifting is the only thing that causes some vertigo symptoms in me. my brain just freaks out lol
i'd invite you to sit in my passenger seat in VR if you've got a vr headset, its always fun to ride along with ppl in vr hurhur

Practice trail braking and steering work
best answer i can give is seat time and variety. make sure you get a good feel for high power, low power, different engine layouts, etc. and different touges will help you grow more confident in the car

What grip level do you typically set it to, and what weather? Also, is this the Drift 90s full course?
i usually have anywhere from 20-21 air and 26-30 asphalt. in this vid it was 21/30. and yes, this is the full happogahara course by 90sgdsp, but a few days ago they released an awesome updated version

Try it again on the new map, the road surface is really bumpy as hell. Not sure how different it is to the one you have.

How do you make the 86 tuned loose traction like that? for me every time I try to make it loose traction it just understeers
Suspension set up. I’m guessing a healthy amount of camber. If the 86 tuned has it too, add a softer front, harder rear spring / damper; and stiffer rear anti-roll bar
@@chrissorreda4982 IIRC only stuff you can change on 86T is ride height, front camber (no rear because solid axle ):, brakes and roll bars
tires used are semi slicks, that's a given
