The confrontation between jammu congress MLAsi ,all Hindus and NC MLAs continued till a defection within NC was engeenered as a result of which Faraooq Abdullah lost majority and GM Shah, his brother in law emerged as leader of new faction of NC who formed govt with the support of the congress MLAs. Omer has to be catious. Central leadership of BJP is extreamly shrewed, they need only fourteen nc MLAs, rest they will manage.
