You’re 100% correct, she would have had to sign a HIPPA release form. I’m pretty sure I always signed one with each of my pregnancies tho (3 with exhusband & 3 with current partner) I know I for sure did with my last baby, she was high risk, my entire 3rd trimester was weekly visits with ultrasounds/45 min monitoring/cervix check each time & lots of labs. I remember signing it thinking gosh forbid something happened during an appointment or if labs came back wonky & they couldn’t reach me, I wanted them to be able to contact him & speak freely. So I guess it wouldn’t be too much of a reach to think she signed one. 🤷🏻♀️
It IS funny tho in movies they either refuse to give info because of HIPPA orrrrr the blab freely to anyone & everyone… whichever fits the story line better. lol
They don't want black women wearing their natural hair in these movies and usually the white hairstylists don't know how to do black hair so they opt for ugly wigs.
