Why does no one like this album?! I love it
I can't explain it for other people, but I enjoyed their old sound on their first two albums. I'm also into the sound if bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Issues, Woe Is Me (original line up), Attila. So this feels less than post-hardcore than they started out. It's hard to explain. It's just unpleasant. I want to like it, but I can't.

This band is absolutely gold. This album is absolute gold. They didn't do a lot of heavy stuff but I think that because of that it shows the beauty of Kellin's voice even more

I like the acoustic stuff but I love these couple albums that were about as hardcore as they got

It's probably using a simple concept of design: the focal point. They WANT Kellin to stand out since he's the lead singer, so they have him in the middle with different clothes from the rest. Its for him to stand out.
I Remember when i got super into this album like months after it first came out. Me and my best friend would just hang out and put it on blast it was awesome, sadly that friend is not my friend anymore. But thats okay, because i found someone that is way better to me. A better friend. So its chill👌🏻✌🏻️👯

It keeps it interesting and I've been listening to each album and I know I'll continue to do that, every album is different and amazing in its own way and thats why I love SWS

ANYWAY, this video is about Sleeping with Sirens. Their first album was heavy. Their second album was very soft. Now this is a mix of the two. They're doing what they want, I don't see a problem with that.

i know i’m 6 years late, but i figured i’d talk to you about the album _Feel_, since it seems that _everyone_ has gotten this album all wrong, and it seems that no one else is realizing it.
the problem with _Feel_ has nothing to do with the sound. i’d argue that the instrumentals are the best part of _Feel._ with that said, where’d the disdain for the album come from?
the problem with _Feel_ is, drum roll... the lyrics. they’re weak, they’re watered-down beyond belief, they’re super one-dimensional and passionless, some of them kinda make you cringe when you read them back. it just seemed like the Sirens were a little desperate to release a follow up to _Let’s Cheers to This_ after it became their magnum opus. and it definitely shows, being that Feel was literally written in 9 days (less days than the number of tracks on the album, interpret that however you want). also, the production and mixing are _abysmal_, all the songs are super compressed, making them sound lifeless and dull and leaving so much to be desired.
let’s recap. the Sirens might’ve been a little desperate to release a follow up to their album _Let’s Cheers to This_ after the critical acclaim it got and the fame it got them. the band gave themselves WAY too little time to work on, write, and produce _Feel,_ resulting in bland, dull production, super uninspired lyrics, some of their worst hooks to date (until the abomination that is _Gossip_ came around and took _Feel’s_ place).
honestly, it’s a shame how poorly _Feel_ turned out. given the right amount of time, it could’ve turned out so much better, possibly as good as their first two albums. i mentioned before that the instrumentals are probably the album’s biggest redeeming quality. there are plenty of good ideas throughout this album, and it makes me sad how poorly the Sirens executes them on _Feel._ i know it’s been 6 years since you’ve commented, but i really just needed to clear this up, since everyone i see in the comments of these songs are only focusing on the sound, which shouldn’t even matter.

Honestly this song points out quite a bit of how people think now and how they won't let go, and that most people just criticize everyone just because they don't have want you have, or that they just have their difference and they can't deal with it. Amazing Job SWS! [:

Exactly. When I first heard of them I downloaded their albums and had them on repeat for like a month. I knew all the words to all the songs and I loved the lyrics and that's all that mattered. I didn't know any of the band members names, I didn't know shit about their personal lives. It was all about their music for me, still is and I love this album. I mean now I know all that shit but that's not what I was listening for. People need to learn to appreciate the MUSIC first these days.
People and music need space to grow...especially with transitions being made in life every second. Love this regardless of what anyone thinks

This happens whenever any band comes out with a new album. Everybody says, "It's not the same as their other songs!", but they fail to realize that people- including band members- grow and change. The things they want to write songs about change with them.

Everyone hating on the new style, you want them to stick to their old sound right? You want them to continue the same thing for years and years to where they hate making music anymore? Think about it that way. There are plenty of bands who have their older sound and if you are looking for that just find those bands. Bands change just like you do. In my opinion the new sound is stellar because they are stepping outside of the box and trying new things just like everyone else.
