Fun fact! if c!Wilbur had just used a wooden pressure plate c!Ranboo wouldn't have had to die! Why? Stone pressure plates can only be activated by the player or a Mob standing on it or a Minecart with the player or Mob riding in it. Wooden pressure plates can be activated by almost anything, including the player or Mobs standing on it, Minecarts, dropped items, Fishing Rods, and occasionally Arrows. However, for a wooden pressure plate to be activated by an Arrow, there must be a secondary trigger- a particle effect. So if he had used a wooden pressure plate they could have just shot it
As logical as that is, the whole point is that c!Wilbur wanted quackity's horse to blow its self up by walking on the pressure plate, his one flaw was that he didn't think tubbo or ranboo would put themselves in danger,he just wanted to one up quackity so bad that he couldn't have possibly known to prepare for what happened
