I've had Mec shotshell and a RCBS Rock Chucker Press, I still enjoy loading my rifle cartridges by hand, like you do, weighing out the powder to the single grain.

Лучше еще лаком промазывать место установки капсюля, т.к. дымный порох зимой может дать просраться от попадания влаги. Да и пыж-обтюратор не так плохо использовать. А наверху ставить пыж-заглушку, их вроде из полиэтилена делают. Да и стоят копейки. Его тоже перед тем, как ставить лаком промазывал.

All the materials used should be kept in a dry place at all times. The varnish is his preventative measure. I'm just going off what he typed. You wouldn't want to be out in the bush in the rain with shells on your person where they could get wet without doing something to negate the chances of moisture getting to the gunpowder. The wax could be enough but i don't know anything about this to be honest first time I've ever seen it. If moisture is an issue I'd just put them in a waterproof container.
