I randomly remembered this scene after all those years and i decided to re watch it, I regret it so much...

Fringe , as you probably know , was about a lot of things that probably can't be done. But everything we can do now was once thought impossible. To me , temporarily reanimating the dead seems the least of them.

this is REALLY one of the bizarrest movie-scenes EVER MADE. its so...freaked me out, that crawls really nasty up your back, into your skin... never was so freaked out since POLTERGEIST from Spielberg/Hooper. AWESOME WORK, BOYS!!!!

People may insist that Spielberg did Poltergeist, but he can't do horror for s**t which is precisely why Tobe Hooper was hired.
This scene is even better when you realize that this is how the interrogation of the dead man in season 1 where they got the 'Little Hill' code phrase was supposed to go if he hadn't been shot in the head. Season 4 was full of call backs to season 1 like this one.
I have seen a lot of freaky shit on Fringe. But that tops it all.
Fringe is a criminally underrated show dealing with transhumanist subjects on the cusp of becoming reality. It explored the kinds of issues near future humanity will be dealing with & is currently barely thinking about. A shocking & disorienting transformation of human life will occur within a few years that will leave most of us seriously disoriented & incapable of coping. Reviving the dead among them.
That's okay. I didn't need to sleep tonight anyway.

Everyone's talking about how freaky and weird this is; imagine how horrifying it must be for Jessica. Say what you will about her, but that's got to be one of the most traumatic experiences I could imagine, being a prisoner in your own body, not being able to see things correctly due to your eyes moving all crazy like, your brain going completely haywire...

Did she really do it in a single take? (great skill in that case) or, was it done using camera tricks?
They just killed her and expect her to answer their questions?
She was dead already but brain remains operative for some hours after death so they used some tech to wake her brain and interrogate.
They've done worse things to people on this show.

She's evil and she died, the good guys hooked her up to the machine which sent electrical impulses to her brain so that she can be temporarily resurrected and would be able to answer some questions that couldn't wait (they were trying to prevent the end of the world)
