    Good evening Buckin. I’ve seen a few of those videos pop up in my suggested vids. I’ve watched enough of your videos, to easily see them for what they are. When we take it upon ourselves to start shining our inner divine light, we become a beacon to the darkness. Not just in the darkness, but to it as well. It’s disturbing to them, they want to snuff it back out again. Concepts like peace, love, being kind to one another, are messages that we all are always in need of being reminded. They’ll keep doing their thing unfortunately, but you keep shining your light my friend, it’s important that we all do. Like you always say, love wins...

    That’s a pickup load of power right there! You just can’t beat a good old power saw testing video! It’s awesome seeing the look on Hogan’s face running all of those saws. Can’t wait to see more of the clones and how they hold up. Love to you and the family❤️

    One of the biggest reasons I am here and have kept coming back is the fact that I can count on the fact that the content is not only informative - I always learn something new - but you are always smiling, upbeat, positive, you don’t use cuss words every other word and you don’t talk bad about other people. Whether a person has a faith or not the world needs more of that - it makes our world a better place - you inspire us to elevate who we are - maybe someday I will shake your hand

    Hey Buckin Billy, I just joined your channel couple weeks ago after the Morgans suggested you. I've enjoyed watching and congratulations on your 50 K. It's a pleasure watching a man who enjoys his craft, you are a true craftsman. And to see you pass the knowledge of your trade, craft, into your son is great. The most important thing I'm grateful from my dad growing up was to learn the artistry of his trade, he was an old school butcher. That's how I learned and I'm proud of it. Trades aren't like they used to be. You boys keep it up and good luck and God bless.

      I have no idea why anyone would diss you, @Buckin.... but, enough of that, my channel's nothing like yours, however, you should go check out an old vid there called "2002 Tree Work" You'll see my freshly woods ported 3120 being used to fell a ~46" dbh 145 foot fir through a 12 foot gap--about 60 feet out. I still have the saw. 3120's have a poor outdated filtration system, so it's needed to have the jug re-honed and new rings installed. Still cuts like the champ that it is. I also have a stock one that's mated to an Alpine Magnum portable stump grinder.. At almost 71, it's bulky 88 pounds are about to get the best of me!!

Most of my trees are around 50 to 65 feet high with lots of lower branches. I cannot climb, so I have to learn techniques to minimize kickbacks or hang ups. But I know my limits and need to get a professional for a couple trees of mine. Thanks for your videos.

    In my opinion, you got a 372W, the "wrapped bar" 75cc.
    At some point in time, the guys recoil failed and he slapped another recoil on from an xpg (g=heated bar) parts saw.
    This is explains the possessed aspect and its lack of heat on the wrap.
    Cool stuff for sure. And like the man behind it, every saw has its own story.

    afleetcommand made some videos about converting 372xp's to XPW they were supposed to be more powerful, bigger bore i think and different cylinder design.

    • @brandonwilson5587
      @brandonwilson5587 5 років тому +1

      actually the 372xpw 52mm is not a faster saw then a 50mm bore. the xpw did have alot more torque but there timing numbers were awful . there transfers were awful to. this being said in stock form ... after porting the xpw will fix these problems and make it way faster then a 372 but in stock form 372 will beat the 372xpw any day.

    I run stihl saws, usually 50cc up to 94 cc. Hard to justify buying a 3120 for 2300.00 dollars or a 880 for the same price. There heavy tork monsters that aren't needed unless the tree trunk is over 4 ft diameter. 394 and 661 will cut plenty with 36 inches bar. I've seen some with 42 inch bars and 7 tooth sprocket, ported. That really get cutting. New around 1300.00. I'm a large strong man, most men can't handle a big saw larger then a 394 or 661. However when you need a big saw well pony up the money. Most of the time they sit in the truck or at the shop. I Thought a lot about buying the 880. I've watched videos and most of the time the 3120 out cuts the 880. Barely, both power heads are huge. I try not burning down a saw. Bring a saw big enough to do the job. Not a 16 or 20 inch saw for everything, they cut a lot but they don't cut 3 ft diameter trees. That's dangerous, make friends with some one like buckin that has the proper equipment and skill. Weekend warrior's usually make it to the E.R. trying to cut off of ladders.
    A phone call to a professional is a wise decision. I love watching buckin, his skill set is high. So high that most, might miss how many decisions he makes while cutting or bucking the tree. Awesome to watch you work buckin. Love your scenery out there. Keep banging those drums.

    Good stuff Billy, keep the chopin going, you guys come up with a new plate full of tips, you and iron horse are my favourite of the the lot on the tube, I'm a keen logger myself over 25 years in the UK harvesting softwoods, steep gradient, winch work, running ford county tractors they were very popular in the back in the day, I've been using what you call the baby for years now and got funny looks at my local dealership when I used to buy a new chain and ask for smaller file's, but hey they're not out there doing it,, god knows how many times we've sharpened saws, and well one day I found out by accident I didn't have a 5.5 file only a pico chain file so I got thing sharp and got through the day with a small file and thought, yes this is the way that chain tooth needs more of a point and hook Shape I thought I needed to get up and under the tooth, you'll know what I mean, the rest is history. Take care buddy, got some Ash die back to deal with soon, climbing, can't wait,, all the best,, Steve, from good old england

      @@Robbie..Ha-Navi I have a stock 3120 and had a stock 394. The 394 was definitely faster I liked it better but it got killed. The 3120 is so much bigger size wise but doesn't pack the punch! Like I said she's a big lug bit slow but doesn't tend to get over worked in the big stuff. Over all the 394 is a better bet in most cases.

    if it weren't for the bad/negative ? we wouldn't appreciate the good/positive and that's what helps us grow. ignorance is the fertilizer which Leeds us towards the light ;o) just like the beautiful rose has its roots in ignorance, but its true beauty eventually shines through when it stretches for the light . mistakes/errors are opportunities to make us better/wiser individuals . the ego makes a useful servant but a lousy master ;o) love the vids buckin and its really nice to see a father/son sharing quality time, doing something they both love. both growing together ;o) keep em coming bud ;o)

    Great Fun seeing the saws run. I would love to hear you talk someday about how to choose and setup saws for specific situations. What saw, chain and grind, rakers, angle combo for big wood vs smaller stuff. Hard wood vs Fir. Clean vs sketchy. Fallen vs buckin vs limbing etc. How do you consistently get to the no fuss happy place of "She Cuts!!!!!"?
