Today (1st September 2024), marks the first day of SMRT Buses operating services from Jurong West Bus Package Tranche 1, with Services 179, 179A, 181, 181M, 192, 193, 194, 199, 240, 240M, 241, 242, 243G, 243W, 246, 249, 251, 252 & 405 transferred. They have a contract term of up to 5 years (till 2029), with an option to extend for another 2 to 5 years based on good performance.
Also, if you look carefully, you will notice the change in EDS type with SMRT Buses. Thank you for your service SBS Transit! (1977-2024)
