    Evidence is published across a variety of sources, including scientific or academic journals, books, conference proceedings, websites, and news reports. During this session Gareth and Tom will explore how we can look for new ways of measuring our impact and use the evidence that we currently have to deliver new and sustainable models of healthcare.

    With nearly 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Gareth Presch is a passionate innovator, leader, and advocate for social prescribing. He is the founder of World Health Innovation Day, an annual celebration of the people, organisations, and communities who make health innovation happen. He is also the CEO of the Global Social Prescribing Alliance, a group of worldwide partners who recognise that what keeps us well is more than medicine.
    Gareth's vision is to enable thriving communities to deliver a social revolution for their health and wellbeing while generating value. He has been involved in various roles and projects that support the implementation of the UN sustainable development goal 3 - "good health and wellbeing". He has published multiple research papers on the World Health Innovation Summit platform and its impact on the digital economy and knowledge in the healthcare sector. He is also a partner at Commonwealth Pacific Climate Fund, an advisor to several international organisations, and a former leadership fellow at George's House, Windsor Castle.

    + guided the successful application of a novel antimicrobial drug, active against severe drug resistant infections, within the worlds first volume de-linked economic model.
    + essentially this means that payment is based on the value these life-saving medicines provide to us rather than the volumes used. This is vital as we must control their use AND still incentivise investment and development of new ones

    + co-founder of the Infection Management Coalition which maps a future ecosystem for severe infections, sepsis and pandemic preparedness
    +envisioning achievable, high fidelity systems for platform and product application
    Telemedicine adoption
    + advocating to infection community on how it sits, how to do it right, how to implement whilst stewarding our antimicrobials
    + broadcast to Ukrainian doctors soon after start of conflict in 2022 regarding how to in-reach with video platforms
    AMR, I believe, acts as the key exemplar for global problem solving across the health, environmental and sociopolitical spectrum. It provides a means of understanding complexity and a roadmap for change
