Heartland writers like Heather Conkie created a powerful and beautiful love story of Amy and Ty, it is the reason for Heartland's success and fans still can't get enough of it because it can't be duplicated with Sam, Finn, Edwin, Nathan, Caleb or anyone else.....in my opinion none of the guys Amy has dated measure up and are good enough for her(and Lindy as well).......the last scene of season 18, episode 10 are the writers attempting to create drama to keep the series interesting......but because Amy always has that pained, dour look on her face(never had it previous romantic situations) even during the final kiss scene with Nathan, I am inclined to believe this will not bode well for them in the future....also, Ty aside, why have the writers forgotten about Lindy in her role in Amy's relationship decisions.....it would be a mistake to forget either Ty(references and stories like in episode 2) and most certainly Lyndy by Amy in her future decisions...the caleb and Ashley storyline along with Nathan's sister appearing as the co-owner of Pryce Beef was interesting but the rest of the episode including the open house was boring and predictable just like the other side stories involving Tim's job and Katie's decision not to leave....Heartland has lost its magic because the last 3-4 seasons lack the The real success of Heartland which was and still is the Amy and Ty love story.
Heartland has a way of changes. Remember Lou and Mitch and how that went. Nathan and Amy could follow the same path? The difference is when the parent is introduced into the relationships like Ty and his parents. We have not seen Caleb’s parents nor Mitch’s parents. We did see Peters parents and they were the actors real life parents.
Thank you for doing the because we didn't get to watch 17 & 18 had no idea. We missed alote so now looking forward to 19. Thank you because we just love Heartland ❤️
Isn’t Ashley a lawyer? Will she help the two ranches cinch the deal, to end the stalemate that Nathan’s sister will try to muck up the truce struck by Amy, Tim, Jack & Nathan in 1810? I hope Ashley and Caleb can help fortify the two families ranches and help them meld together.
I am a beloved fan of Hartland. I was very upset when Ty left the show. Now all I hear is rumors of Ty comming back. I would love to see Ty come back OR for Amy and Nathan to get closer., But I think it is time to put thoes rumors to rest and decide which it is going to be! This very frustrating as a fan of hartland. Please put these rumors to rest ASAP.
These rumors are not coming from CBC Gem, the writers or the cast and crew. It is just social media influencers (UA-camrs, FaceBookers and Instagramers) posting these rumors for clicks. This is how they make their money. The Ty character (Graham Wardle) is not coming back. They killed him off because that is what the actor wanted. The actor portraying him has sin ce retired from acting. I really wish they would stop posting these lies and getting the fans hopes up.

@@lindahood3745 Thank you and your welcome! P.S. Just making sure you know since I've made this mistake in the past, too, UPtv and UP Faith & Family are two different things. Lou is an extremely unlikeable person!! She is always extremely judgmental and seems to be able to forget all the different things that were un- favorable that she has done over many seasons. She is always so controlling and over the top If only she would move to Dubai I would be so happy😂
She finally got her man. She’s worked hard these seasons trying to find one. It actually started in season 13 when they introduced her to Sam even before Ty died. Season 14 it was cooper and Sam. Season 15 it was Sam and Caleb. At the end of the season it was Finn. Season 16 it started with Finn until he tragically passed away. Then it was Edwin. Season 17 it was Edwin, Caleb and Nathan. By this season she finally got her man. I think Amber just has to have a man with her that she can kiss and fawn over. I know that Graham wanted to leave the show but he didn’t want to be killed off. I think he was forced off by Michelle, Chris, and Amber. Now it’s a show with actors trying to hang on to their careers. The show is not heartland they need to change the name.
Amber is happily married in real life, so I don't think that's true. Plus I also don't think Michelle, Chris, and Amber forced Graham to do anything. Amber and Graham are still really good friends, so doubt there is any bad blood between the actors.
Amy never had any romantic relationship with Sam and had two dates with Edwin before she called it off. Not really how you portray her. By the way, Graham did participate in how Ty would leave the show. Can you supply any proof that Graham was forced out. That is you trying to justify why a character you like left. Graham even said he had been thinking about his departure for years.
Where do you get this stuff? Amy has never chased after any of the men that you named, while married to her husband Ty or after his death. Cooper was someone she was trying to help at the Youth Center with a horse (Challenge). As for Sam, Caleb tried to get them together and they both told Caleb that they were just friends. Edwin was interested in her, but she only saw him as a friend. The only man that she showed any interest in was Finn, who was less than forthcoming about his life and she was not really ready for him. She realized that and also told Finn's ex-fiance that. Wow, I guess Amy can't have any male friends, without someone making assumptions. She deserves to be happy, in love and have someone love her back. What is wrong with that? As for Graham, he gave Heather Conkie 2 years notice so they could come up with an agreeable storyline for his character. No one forced him off the show. He was ready to move on and pursue other things.
It was a solid “no” for Edwin, S17, definitely not a fit for Amy to spend time or serious relationship, it was a plus he also had a young daughter like Lyndy for play dates.. and bcuz of Caleb’s longtime BFF with both Amy & late husband, then he should never be more than close, special friend.. Finn Carter was an absolute “no” would never want too see together with Amy permanently… like next door ex ball player, turned rancher Sam Langston easy on eye pleasant and his non pushover attitude, and could see friends enjoy time together.. before Nathan Pryce came along S17 it was Cooper Hughes, he and Amy had something in common like her mother (Marion) working with troubled kids & horses and with training horses 🐴 could see a serious relationship development over period of time, but he ran away from the Center he started including horses and kids in group home kids after mismanagement funds etc. But Nathan Pryce join HL series in S17 and producers and writers have finally found the man for Amy Fleming, moving his character at a pace that allows the audience to get to know Nathan who’s been betrayed in a marriage, divorced, returns to Hudson after twenty years, he mets Amy and by end of S18 is friends with both her and daughter Lyndy and on good business terms with Lou Tim and grandpa Jack.. solid actor, handsome rancher character, he’s great fit and by E10 they are in LOVE ❤️🥰

I'm still looking for a legitimate DVD of season 17. I own seasons 1-16. Every season 17 DVD out there skips and is in the wrong order as if it is a bootleg copy.
Amy loves her daughter and she loves her new husband Nathan.and they get married to each other and Lynda is happy about her mom being with her being in love with Nathan 💗
It took Amy a long time for her to fall in love with Ty,but it only took a couple of episodes to fall for Nathan. Yes she needed to move on,but it should have taken a longer time for this to happen. The writers are pushing this too fast. Sorry, but I don't like it that this has happened too quickly. Finding love takes some time to happen. This episode is so stupid. I don't like it one bit.
Amy and Ty were kids when they met. And it still only took her a season to fall in love with him. Everything that happened after was because of Ty's stupid decisions. That's why it took them so long. And now with Nathan it took more than a season for them to finally acknowledge their feelings. So I don't really see how you could think that the time frame is so different. Of course, Ty was Amy's first real love, and they built a life together, hit every major milestone together, and it was a major part of the show. Everything revolved around that. Now that Amy already has a life, things are a bit different. But it's been several years since Ty died, and clearly Amy has a hard time starting something new no matter who it is. And her and Nathan have been tiptoeing around each other forever now. And they only just kissed for the first time. They have a long way to go.
@@alexi3223 Exactly, it took more than a few episodes. He was introduced in Season 17 and them developing feelings for each other was gradual, not over night.
Lousy writing. They brought in a freight train of sap and crashed it into Heartland, pouring sap on a rocky friendship instead of using seriously good writing over time. Very uncreative. Pathetic writing. Too much syrup ruins anything and it sure ruined episode 10.
