The difference between factory screws and non factory screws is that the threads are a lot more spread out on the non factory kind

I would much prefer the more accurate mod but it's still ok for easy and quicker activation

Not really. You need a barbecue lighter and a paper clip. You heat up the paperclip and it should melt the plastic away fairly well. You do have to be careful though
