    Thanks Ken!! I love the concept of filters... I definitely have them - quite a few! Hopefully this talk will help me to recognize when I'm using them (as well as when others are using them).

    Feeling so alone and low. Despite my best efforts I can’t seem to get out of my own way. Trying to not quit before the miracle happens.

      It takes a village, and time. You might just need more support: 12 Step fellowship, therapist, medication, diet, exercise, and community. Just know that you're not alone. If you are in the United States and in crisis, please dial 988.

      There are many lists available. The new Loving Parent Guidebook has an extensive list (but I think sometimes less is more). If you google Cognitive Distortions, you will get many options. Use the list that makes the most sense to you.
