  • The Multiverse by Aviate Audio is multi-effect that allows you to essentially create several of your own custom pedalboards, exactly how you want them, that you can apply to the physical pedal as presets for cycling through at the show. The software also features developer options that allow players to engineer their own audio effects, test them out, and publish them with Aviate Audio into a library that's accessible for all pedal users to download from.

Seems pretty cool! The stereo in/out is a big plus

That is really cool, I've had some audio processing ideas in that past that would be really nice to package into something like this.

I have literally thought about creating a company to create a product just like this.
I'll have a look at the developer tools.

Check out Mod Devices. They have been around for a few years.

@@gerrykavanagh Mod devices is running a full blown Linux OS with a lot of the software being just a collection of existing open-source libraries. MOD is basically trying to put a Linux DAW on a pedal. This one is running bare-metal and while it's an open platform to developers, their Multiverse code is proprietary which makes it a little more like a commercial DAW environment. That can be an important distinction to those concerned about protecting their algorithms.

Very cool, im usually very wary about these type of pedals but this is very interesting

    brilliant !!!!

Really cool unit and great idea. Really similar to what I’m building except with mine you can use any vst with it. And mine also focuses more on neural amp modeling.

So this is like a significantly less powerful Mod Dwarf with a less open platform?

Pretty cool. Probably draws quite a bit of power maybe

I have one of their early prototype units. The spec on the webpage says 9V adapter providing 250 mA, but when I measured my unit it was typically using around 100 mA at 9V. So, too much for a battery option, but pretty low power for a DSP platform.

Do we really need another digital mulieffects like this when we have brands like Line 6, Kemper, etc kicking ass with their digital modeling? The only thing that sets this apart is being able to program your own effect......but really how many of us have the programming knowledge or will follow through trying to learn that when the effects are already built in?

why ? how is this any different than all the kempers, axe fx, line 6 systems ?.... the bonus of this is users can develop their own and unique systems

@@YesItsReallyKeith I have faith that you will actually spend the money on it, put together couple thousand lines of c++ that compiles to a good old simple signal chain consisting of a tuner, wah, tubescreamer, noise gate, jcm 800 head, delay pedal, and 4x12 cab. Then make a video comparing it against a kemper, axe fx, or even a hx stomp to show that your system sounds no different than them. I truly have faith that you're not just bluffing.

@@pepper8241 so to answer my sincere question, you attempted a cheap shot to mock and still haven't provided any reasonable logic as to why you call this a gimmick..... says alot about you !!!

@@YesItsReallyKeith oops sorry I accidentally exposed your inability to read, darling. Here let me translate it for you: you asked how the MCU Multiverse is any different from a kemper or an axe fx (assuming you're smart and reasonable enough to leave out the profiling and tone matching features), my answer to that is with the Multiverse you can't even easily put together a simple standard signal chain, even after you've spent days on coding it up it won't ever sound on par with a kemper or axe fx. I still believe that you will prove me wrong by making a shootout video between them instead of rambling.
