This is such an underrated movie franchise
I hate scenes like this. The continuity of the doors shutting is just all off. They close the first 50% in about 3 seconds, then there's about 15 or 20 seconds where they apparently don't close at all and then when Thomas runs through it starts off it's on both his shoulders but he still makes it through

How was the goal to save them? Saving them would be running in as soon as he saw them and help Minho carry Alby out. Not waiting till the doors are almost shut. Plot just needed him in the maze.

The point is, it made no sense as to why he ran in so late because at that time, he had no knowledge (memory wipe) of what was inside the maze, and with his lack of understanding of the maze, there was no way he knew how to save them. Him running like 3 seconds before the gates closed is suicide. he could have just ran when he first saw them struggling to walk. What was he thinking when ran in? we gonna fuck and no one will know?

@@staceysmom1691 there are specific and strong rules they made to not enter the maze if you’re a runner, and getting more people in there would never help because it would take more time to get out and there would be less space. Like other parts of the maze runner in the movie, when Minho shouts “THOMASSSSS” and Thomas runs to him squishing the griever in the middle, it’s kinda like that situation. It wouldn’t really help but get yourself stuck too.
@@staceysmom1691 basically, it's taboo to enter the maze if you're not a runner. The leaders make it very clear that only runners or people that are going to be exiled are allowed to into the maze.

As a Spanish speaker, closer to Portuguese than Korean, I pronounced “Minho” like Brazilians say “dinheiro” for a long time. It is like how English speakers say “España” 😂 Until I got into Kpop again I realized that the pronunciation was more like “Min-Ho” (Min Jo for me). 😂

This was by far the best of series just because of how mysterious and good the plot was. Afterwords it just got too complicated with doublecrosses and reveals rather then suspense of what's happening.
Books did a good job of it tho. I really liked the scorch trials. Thought that book was really exciting
