This just about made me cry. That movie was made in 2019. I almost let my kids watch it, because I read all the books when I was in 2nd grade. But after a few minutes into the movie, I decided to wait until they were older. 2nd grade kiddos are not the same today as they were when I was a kid 😅

So when I asked to invite some of my friends over at age 8 for my birthday party I said I would be fine with no present if it meant I could watch scary stories to tell in the dark! My. Mom agreed and I became obsessed with horror

Omg! That last one with the video playing was so amazing ❤ I would not have any idea how to draw light in a dark room. My personal favorite was the scarecrow though. Reminds me of Children of the Corn. I also loved your Georgie and Pennywise, but (and this is no fault of your own) I am not a fan of that particular Pennywise, ya know? I look at him and I see that stupid kid who grew up to be the villian in the Incredibles. It's just not "Clown" enough. It's like the creators tried too hard to make him a creepy clown when clowns are just naturally creepy 🤷♀️🤡
I agree 100%. Original pennywise will forever be my jam. The whole point of him was kids were supposed to be lured in by him because he's a clown. Come on, no kid would go anywhere near new Pennywise, and all of the CGI was so over the top it made it less scary somehow.
question, do you think its necessary/helpful/do you recommend to get an art degree or go to some kind of art school (collage or high school) to become a good artist? because I've been homeschooled all my life and i don't think i would enjoy going to some kind of school like that, but I've always really wanted to be artist so i definitely would open to the idea. so i was just wondering your opinion
I think people in the art world take those with degrees more seriously, but I personally don't have one. I guess it depends the field you want to go in. If you want to do architecture, interior design, fashion design, or graphic design for a big firm - they'll want you to have a degree. If you want to do something like freelance or UA-cam... Definitely not a requirement. Also as someone swimming in student loan debt with a different useless degree... I'm kind of biased toward not. Lol.
You know the creepy characters you did is amazing if you want to trying draw a eldritch horror or a Lovecraftian horror I'm sure you're not familiar with HP Lovecraft but the monsters he made are tentacle like creatures with many eyes and many mouths
