So this song is the theme for this year’s Magical Mirai which also happens to be Kagamine Rin and Len’s 10th anniversary! And they made the right choice getting Giga-P to compose the song, he truly is the queen of sassy bops. It’s been so long since he did vocaloid and he absolutely KILLED it with this one! Now if he could just release another album, I’d probably go ahead and retire to my coffin and wait for jesus to take me tbh.
But anyway, I really wish I could’ve done this song more justice. I feel like even if I gave my blood for it, there’s no way I could reach Giga level. And yes, I did a self-duet because I hate myself and love recording 500 harmonies and ad-libs alone. So this cover barely made it out alive, I’m sure there are more skilled people that will have an easier time with this. Until then, here’s my attempt!

I always love covers (eng or jp) of vocaloid songs because while i don't mind vocaloid, i love the human feel it gets from a real persons voice.

As much as I like your voice, I agree that there wasn’t enough power put into it. It’s not bad, though I can tell you’re not really used to putting a lot of power into singing. Ngl I did get a little excited when I saw the upload, but I’m also looking forward to other covers as well.

Tbh, (plus my opinion), Juby has a lot to improve on, but not making any progress.
It sounds like she just sings, no power or anything, and slap on intense mixing.
I understand if the mixing is part of her style, but again, she has a lot to improve.
Her high notes don't seem well-developed. (Or maybe it is just her soprano vocals?)
Her mixing seems to hide her full potential. She doesn't have a versatile vocal, yet she chooses songs in a range and intensity that makes her voice screechy.
You gotta understand what your vocal can and can not do.
I don't hate Juby, but she's my least favorite.
When it comes to singing, you just don't sound good. There's MUCH more than that.
Besides Juby needing improvement despite being the most popular, there are actually some others that outshine Juby's vocals.
But I do like the clean tone and voice acting (in covers) of Juby.
Otherwise, I don't think she should be in the spot of the most popular youtaite if she's clearly an amateur vocalist with tons of mixing.
(No one likes intense mixing or autotunes these days.)
There are youtaites with more skilled vocals yet there not that as popular.
Connie Ma I think one of the reasons she’s popular is her unique voice and well-written lyrics, not her vocal technique. She could definitely improve her vocals, but I disagree that she doesn’t deserve her popularity. It’s just that her vocal range/style doesn’t suit some of the more intense songs she sings (which she very likely sings just ‘cause she likes them not necessarily from her thinking she’s gonna sing it super well). I understand that the less popular youtaites aren’t getting as much attention, but I don’t think it’s right to disregard Juby’s hard work she puts in her singing and lyrics.

Though some of other youtaites lyrics are good,Juby's lyrics seems to be more well-written and it sounds nice because it doesn't stray too far from the actual lyrics (Some words and/or lines get lost in translation),and some of her words rhyme (Which is a plus point for me because rhyming words are sometimes difficult).
I do agree with Juby's need for improvement though,but her mixing and well-written lyrics make up for it. Juby still deserves this kind of popularity in my opinion,since some of her songs are actually quite enjoyable even though she doesn't reach the desired note,power,and/or tune.
Take this song for example,I agree that her voice seems kinda off in this song. But dang the lyrics and mixing got me hard,let's not forget about her legendary rap (bless).
My point in here is that despite her voice sounding like an amateur let's not disregard all her hardwork on mixing and making lyrics. Plus if you're jamming out to a song would you care about whether you sound good or not? Cause I'll still definitely jam to it even if I sound like a screaming goat 😂😂
I feel like a key component to this song is power and vocal flexibility. And one of those is missing, so it feels kinda strange to me..
