Of course it's brilliant. Very atmospheric, every detail of the era is described with amazing precision and love. The beginning immediately plunges you into the idyll of the film masterpieces of the early 1970s with their social realism and moral purity. Both the shaking of the credits on the screen and the entire technical ambiance of the films of the 70s greatly detail this masterpiece and make it truly authentic. Against the backdrop of the slop movies of today, this film seems like an echo of a paradise gone forever. Congratulations.

The Holdovers was exceptional, human, and intelligent. Imagine Richard Dreyfus as the lead in earlier decades. FYI, in the cherries jubilee scene, a party of diners is drinking MERLOT. 😊

Interviewer, STOP putting the mic in your lap. Do you not hear the distracting noise???

Don't you think a better camera angle would have been to see the front of Mr. Payne's face instead of his side? Seriously? I'd rather be looking at him than the interviewer.
