This is just awesome. A band did almost all Korean song in bluegrass and did the dance. I'm glad people like this exist in America. It says a lot about our society given the current issues in our country.
+SylvanaForrester his singing was good but his pronunciation is really weird, i dont speak korean but i can differentiate korean from chinese and japanese language and this doesnt sound like any of those
Puppoi, I am half korean and Korean is my first language, and it is very hard (basically imposible) to understand what they are failing to sing. But they have good voices.
Yep. I've gone from watching changing brake pad videos, to penguin mating rituals, to Korean hillbilly music. Gonna close my eyes and try to forget about this day... Good night all.
Absolutely amazing. I saw a band a few years ago, the Cherry Cokes, who are Japanese, but play Celtic punk. They cant speak any english, other than their lyrics. They were amazing. These guys doing this, remind me of them!
Very nice. I love the attention to detail and light joviality that says, "This is fun." and "We are great musicians." in a non-threatening and professional style. jeongmal gamsahabnida
Anyone who says this isn't the best version of Gangnam Style (even better than the original) should grab a bottle of Jack Daniel's, drain it, and then rethink their viewpoint.
I’ve never commented on UA-cam. My uncle was a colonel in the war and I’ve actually been to Gangnam in Seoul and love the Korean people. Somehow the UA-cam machine knows I love bluegrass and this song by Psy…weird, funny, old school, modern, and everything wrapped up in one awesome song!!
this reminds me of the scene in The Other Guys where Will Ferrel's character finds out that Mark Whalberg's character could do ballet just to make fun of guys who did ballet. 'You learned Korean...sarcastically??"
This was always my favorite Bill Monroe song. I remember when I was little and my grandpa putting this one in the cassette player
That’s funny
LOL
Spit out my 🍺 funny!
Korean in a southern accent isn’t what I knew I wanted but what my soul needed.
What your Seoul needed?
South Korean accent.
As a Dutchman watching this performance has just restored my faith in the United States of America.
😉
Proof that music can always cross any cultural boundaries, love this.
DAMN!!!!!! People seriously don’t realize how much musical and performance talent you have to have to pull that off!!!!!!! Incredible!!!
I really hope Psy sees this. I have a feeling he'd laugh himself silly and love it. Well done, guys. Really well done.
These here fellas put something special into everything they do
I agree totally. Waiting for the compilation album.
As Mr Psy's attorney I can tell you he was not impressed. These American bullies are attempting to poke fun at Mr Psy.
@@jimmyarbutus2555 you are special needs
Psy would have loved this had he survived the Kovid psyrus
Blue Grass cover of Gangnam Style. This is mind blowing.
Music City Roots has a younger audience generally so I am sure 90% of them knew exactly what this was, if not more.
Dear. God.
THIS IS FANTASTIC.
Always have liked alternate-genre covers, when they're done right.
Which I think this is.
But for the Korean speakers like me, we can't understand a word!
Funniest thing I have seen in weeks. And...they are good!!
Find Seven Nation Army by SKALD
How does he keep a straight face?!? That's awesome.
I would be on the floor! 😅🤣
yeah, they're all so deadpan serious, it's fantastic! CRAZY impressive!
I am on the floor!!!!😂😂😂😂
So glad they covered this, I could never understand the words before!
lol
I don't think Koreans understand this
He's just parroting what he thought he heard. It's gibberish.
It's fun though.
This is just awesome. A band did almost all Korean song in bluegrass and did the dance. I'm glad people like this exist in America. It says a lot about our society given the current issues in our country.
English presse!!!!
Prease
The heros we didn’t know we needed. I can die happy now.
That fiddle player is the MVP here! He's got the fiddlin', the harmony parts, the dancing - plus - he starts eefing at 3:13 !
Dustin Wilson No hambone? 🤣
Eefing and ifing
HOLY SHIT THE EEFIN'
I'm impressed he learned the whole song in Korean.
+amisheskimoninja It reminds me of learning phonetical Latin when I was an altar boy.
+amisheskimoninja actually koreans wouldnt understand anything he's saying, great job though
SylvanaForrester nope, I can't understand it. It just sounds convincing.
+SylvanaForrester his singing was good but his pronunciation is really weird, i dont speak korean but i can differentiate korean from chinese and japanese language and this doesnt sound like any of those

So ridiculous! Love the Korean.
Grassnam Style
Nailed it!!!!
Not gonna lie, this is probably the best thing I've seen all year.
this is the greatest and hilarious thing i have ever seen like the guy on the fiddle looks like a governor of a southern town
He's intentionally dressing like Boss Hogg from the old Dukes of Hazzard show. :)
I've been a Cleverlys fan for 14 years now and they still make me laugh!
I believe this is what Psy had in mind when he wrote this... brilliant
The Korean in that southern drawl is just absolutely amazing... Just one of those things we'd never see if it weren't for the Internet!
I have reached the end of the internet. When you get to the Korean with a twang, it's time to shut it down.
Look up Henry Cho :D
@@mrsleep0000 love me some Henry Cho (spoken in my Okie twang) 😆😆😆
Yep. I've gone from watching changing brake pad videos, to penguin mating rituals, to Korean hillbilly music. Gonna close my eyes and try to forget about this day...

I was thinking the same thing.
My internet starts here ",
that "Whoopdem" gets me every time :'D

Wow that was really cool...learning a new respect for blue grass
Straight Slapper !
+bakerXderek Fancy seeing your comment here :D love ur vids.
Cheah Gangnum Style!
this is epic on so many levels
I'm very impressed that the lead singer was willing to learn the 99% Korean lyrics. Can I download this somewhere?
Kota Marchri I'm not sure what he's singing in, but it's definitely not Korean.
If you replace the "www." to "ss", you can download almost anything on youtube.
His pronunciation isn't horrible.
AlienCollective 4 years late but it is dude
Southern Korean?
Best.Cover.Ever.
amazing musicians who show they don't take themselves too seriously...
I had never heard of these guys, clicked out of curiosity, I'm definitely a fan now!
Same. Just learned about them tonight! I’m hooked!
HOLY CRAP, THIS NEEDS MORE VIEWS!!!
Genius! Clever, hilarious, and heavenly music all at the same time. You ROCK!!
I love this! These guys are awesome! Musical genius!
These men have great big old balls to do some of the songs they do and they pull it off so well!!!
this is freaky and unnatural... I love it!!!
If Psy were born in the mountains of Tennessee
Well, I've been to 1 Worlds Fair, a picnic, and a rodeo - but don't that beat all.
How was the picnic? Did you have nanner puddin' ?
and bubbles on bass
That's what I was thinking! You cracked me up, man!
bobble head bubbles on the base, cooool!!!!!!!!!!!
IKR. Nice one bud.
🤣🤣🤣 I was thinking that, while he is playing that bass like a champ, he doesn't look like he has a coherent thought running through his head!
@@blakejustice1972 hes blind 🤣
The Cleverlys the Weird Al of Bluegrass. awesome!
The Cleverlys are FIERCE musicians - mad love, mad respect!
"Whooped 'em Gangnam Style."
They change a line in every song. It's their couch gag
Omg I love this... I haven't smiled this much in 2 years... thank you!#
These dudes are hilarious . Saw them at Vincent Daily Fest
"cooter bottom no" hell yes. And that fiddle player needs to get extra pay for that fancy foot work. Love this.....bluegrass style.
Thank you for adding eephing to this! Keep the eeef alive!
Whooped em' gangham style. I love the old traditional country music. Glad these guys are bringing back classics from the CMA vaults!
I thought I would get tired of Gangnam Style. But with so much variety... NEVER.
Y'all R mazing ... You do both kinds of music, country & western !!! Truly a blessed quartet !!!
OK one of the best music videos I have come across in a long time. Priceless
Best version ever
Anyone who says this isn't the best version of Gangnam Style (even better than the original) should grab a bottle of Jack Daniel's, drain it, and then rethink their viewpoint.
decision-making while under the effects of jack daniels isn't generally advised.
This is effectively how I came to find Paul Blart 2 sunc up to Dark side of the moon to be best film.
I'm speechless, absolutely the best thing I've ever listened to.
This put the biggest smile on my face; it made my day, week and month!
Never listen before... What a big surprise! greetings from Italy.

This is... surreal and perfect and I'm so grateful that it exists. Just. So happy.

I see what you did there.
Lordy! This is my favorite cover ever!
These men are so talented!
Fantastic!
Why doesn't this have 2 billion views! I am genuinely surprised
I 💘 THIS!
Very talented group of musicians to be able to pull something like this off. Don't hate, appreciate.
Truly professional cover band performer's. As good as it gets, and do it all their own way.

Mind. Blown.
This is awesome lol
You folks are awesome and deserve way more fame.
Holy cow these guys are good. I like this version much better than the original. Awesome!
