I don't know how I keep finding metal bands that have so much to say about Christianity that is 100% spot on. Growing up this way left irreparable damage and I love Maria for giving me a chance to scream about it. I know that come judgment day I can say that I followed love.

Blame man for what is wrong in religion and not God who is just...for each one must work out their own salvation b4 the Lord with great fear and trembling. In this Moment rocks though, they found me when I was in a very dark place, their music saved my life.

Hey, I’m a Christian and there is no such thing as perfect Christians. We were unfortunately made to sin. If a church or Christian say their perfect their not truly following gods word and they would be going against scripture, It’s also worth mentioning Christianity is totally different how it’s preached in different countries. I like listening to music like this because I like to hear both sides of the story. But I’ll always be a devoted Christian. I just want to help as many people as I can ❤️ I understand what it’s like to struggle with sexuality as I do.

Its crazy how a religion based in "love" has universally created so much hatred.
Doesn't matter what you base your religion on, get enough followers and turn into an institution and it will create enough wars and division just the same as others. You could create a religion based on love of lollipops and give it enough time, followers and people using it for their own advancement and you could sadly have people killing each other over candy on a long enough timeline.

Aw! That sucks. It's such an amazing song. Did they play a mix of their stuff or focus more on Black Widow? I saw Within Temptation last month and was disappointed when they only played a few songs from their newer album. I'm hoping ITM does a decent amount from this album. I really love the messages and emotions with the songs on this one.

Chemical Ghost No that's totally ok! I was really curious as to what they were going to play. I will say I'm a bit disappointed though. And how cruel to play the intro but not the rest of the song! Boo. I really wanted to hear this or Dirty Pretty though. I'm surprised they only stuck to the songs they released before the album.

There is so much creativity, but also so much passion in their music. It really moves every fiber of my being, and puts me right in the music. I think the point of music is to spread that way to relate and take the listener away to another world. That's exactly what I feel when I hear them. Not just a masterpiece but one that speaks to the parts of everyone that we just can't explain. I love this band.

People are saying this is their worst album so far, but I think it's their best so far. I may have not cared for the whole rap thing in "Sex Metal Barbie", but the rest of the songs on the album are the shit. At first I didn't like this song because I thought it was directed at God and I grew up Christian so I feel weird about any music that is aimed at God in such a way. Once I listened to the lyrics though I realized it's not about God, it's about the church and how many churches treat people they deem "sinners". Whether it be because they're gay or because they smoke. And many churches use manipulation tactics and abuse to keep people in check.
