      Glad they dropped the folklorist. Never felt like it added anything to cut to her just saying something Adam or Jamie could just say themselves. Like here she has like 3 sentences. Guessing they had a weird contract going or something.

    Btw, if anyone still wonders if it's completely impossible to get the death stink out of the car - it's not impossible. If you stick it in a spray shop paint baking booth where they harden the paint after a respray at 140°C, it gets rid of absolutely any smell in just 3-4 hours. But for the corrosion, you might have to disassemble the entire electrical system and go through it bit by bit in order to make it work again. It's tedious, but certainly possible w/o sourcing the car for parts.

  • @GageFilms
    @GageFilms 7 місяців тому +4

    Okay, I love this episode, but the verdict still confuses me.
    The myth says that a car with a corpse festering would be impossible to get the smell out of, which was true as not even the crime scene clean-up crew could.
    Shouldn't the myth be confirmed? The myth never says that the car isn't sold, only that whoever buys it has to deal with the smell.
    I feel like they forgot what the myth was about. They say it's busted because they couldn't clean it, even though the myth says that they wouldn't.
    I just kinda feel crazy cause it felt like they confirmed it, but are so adamant that it's busted.

    I feel like they went overboard on the car myth and still busted it. First of all, the myth just says a guy died in there. They used two pigs which is more than just one guy, plus they sealed it and put it in a shipping container. It defeats the spirit of the myth. If this happened naturally, the car would not have been sealed, thus much of the scent would have escaped. They ramped the myth up to 1000 which should have made it plausible at least and not busted
