The Standard has stainless steel frets on a neck that has a carbon reinforcement, a 5 way switch, the push pull doesn't filter the lows, rather it boosts them. And finally the whole body has a binding because it has a maple cap over the mahogany. I forgot to mention it also comes with a gig bag. So yes, there are many interesting differences. But believe it or not I ended up buying the Element, because it was what I needed.
@@tonys2189I bought the Element as well and it definitely chugs. I’m from Australia and over here the RSS sells for over a $1000 while the RSE goes for about $680. I may trade in my Element for the Standard one day but it’s definitely a good guitar in its own right.
The best color, Copper Red, is only available in the UK and EU. For the dry filter doesn't seem to do a whole lot. Maybe I'm not playing it loud enough. I'm thinking of putting in a conventional tone pot.
I can say that the Indonesian made are not the same quality as the MIJ. I received my brand new Revstar RSS02T packaged from Yamaha and it had two high frets, tool marks on the fretboard, cracks in the binding, a poorly fitted, poorly cut nut, fisheyed paint spots and back bowed neck. Yamaha customer service was non-existent. Luckily the dealer paid for a local luthier to fix it up short of the tool marks and water in the paint so be warned!
Tried one of the element models. Sounded ok but the finish on the back of the neck was horrible. I expected great things from the reviews but I was really disappointed.
Love the Revstar line.
Yamaha makes good stuff !!😊❤
Nice instrument, really like the guitar playing.
worth buying a new rs320 in 2024? i live in pakistan and cant find the 2022 new series here.
Thank Michael
What's the difference between this one and the Standard?

It's does not, have coilsplitting. You should do some research before telling others things.
This model surly has coilsplit by pulling the tone pot
Please do some, punctuation research before using commas
It does not have coil split, but it does have a high pass filter that sounds really nice
Calm down

For the price I'd just strip sand the neck finish and put some tung or gun oil on it
I think the finish on the neck is fine.
