I’ve spent the past few days looking for a song to use as a theme for a character in a game I’m playing, finally found it. This is perfect, great job mate.
Hello! This is great! I'd love to use this as a backtrack for a relaxation meditative piece on my native flute. Of course, I will mention your channel if I use it. Thanks so much for making this available.
Really glad it was useful to you! Also that definitely makes me want a Rav Drum lol. I'll just have to settle for the Cloudrum plugin for now, really nice free VST for anyone that might be interested! ;)
Started playing the blues scale to this on my synth... soon I started turning the knobs, going into different scales and by the end of it I was just bashing the keyboard with my hands. It was fucking awesome.
Just another day in the life of one of the last surviving doges right? ;) Definitely one of my favorite things about these types of tracks though, so much freedom improvising over them!
@@thedisorderlyfashion I've had something on the back-burner that I think would fit the bill lol. I'll be working on it. I recently done an audio recording of the forest I basically reside in lol, and adding some synths and the like over that.
Enjoy Joker! I personally just try to stay as loose as possible jamming with these sorts of backing tracks. No need to regard any tempo constraints or stick to one mode of D Minor, just see how many different creative ways you can use the key. I think trying to keep that interesting for 10 minutes or so is a pretty nice challenge/practice. :)
Thank you so much, and sorry for the late reply! You can find a playlist on my channel titled "Ambience Tracks" with a few more, some much longer. I realize I haven't posted lately; I recently took on a position in graphics and podcast production and have been busy adjusting to the hectic schedule, but I promise plenty more of exactly that is on the way! :)
My ex (who blocks me after 12 ys together) visited me in a dream. She was sitting in peace. In normal chlotes. Held my hand. Looked at me. I was so happy to see her. (Very complicated story....) Then I said: shake my hand a bit cause it feels like it's a dream. She did... I woke up. I needed a non-stop minor chord for today. (Thanks)
Hey thanks a lot, and sorry for the long wait! If you did end up uploading that, I would love to know which video it is! 😁 If not, you're free to do so! All these ambient tracks are marked for no copyright. :)
Dude do you mind if I use this as a background sorta droning pad and overlap a piano melody on top?Your literally mad talented. But only if u agree cuz this is a gem you made bro
I don't mind at all dude! I'd love to see melodies and improvs over my ambient stuff. Just drop me a credit if you don't mind, and feel free to let me know if you post it on here! Sorry for the wait btw. :)
I don't have any direct links setup currently, but if you google youtube to mp3 you'll see a couple of different free options for converters, youtubetomp3music for example. As always with websites like this I would personally advise having "uBlock Origin" and "Popup Blocker (strict)" extensions... just in case. :) I also love the program Freemake Video Downloader myself, really useful for downloading in different resolutions and converting to audio.
Sure thing, and that goes for everyone! I made this old gem in Audacity with CC0 samples from FreeSounds and some midi created in Guitar Pro 7 to be honest, so there should be no issues lol.
Hi, I'm hoping you see this comment. I wish I knew another way to contact you. Did you personally create this track? I'm looking for someone who can make tracks like this so that I can use them for backups during live drum performances.
Hello, sorry for the long absence! I did create the track, and it's licensed under *Creative Commons* so you can use it for anything you like; I believe the same holds true for all the ambient tracks on this channel. You can usually see the *Creative Commons Attribution License* mark in blue at the bottom of the description if something on YT is marked copyright free. I'm honestly not sure if I'd be interested in working on commissions again, but you can always message me on Twitter @SmithingTheNarrative if you want to change my mind, or just chat music or whatever lol. I've been working on another channel as of late but I do plan on getting back into makings these, and you're free to use them for background tracks online, live, wherever you please. Credit is always appreciated of course, but I'm way into transformative content and all that jazz. 😁

you are so cool...
Thank you!! It's beautiful xx
Improvising, alone in my room with my old violin on a D minor scale. Perfect
This is a great drone/ambience for practicing my scales and line ideas. Great visuals too.

@@ComposingTheNarrative The ambiance is perfect for that mysterious feel that I’m hoping for, I think my players will really enjoy it. Thanks so much

Wow, thank you, beautiful for listening, and all takes are too very good for saxophone sound- and scale/key practising.
amazing sound... Especially Playing The Rav Drum with this so relaxing...

Wow Shawn!!! it's actually super relaxing
Gooood gooood! C: It's also very re-usable and something that there isn't a lot of on youtube lol.

@@ComposingTheNarrative Haha, you're quite right =) And yeah, ambient is _the stuff_ when it comes to backing tracks for improvisation.
I'm a guitar player. Not a shredder by any stretch of the imagination but i absolutely love improvising over stuff like this
Lol.. excellent 😆
THIS IS SO GOOD!!...THANKYOU FOR THIS!...I WAS ABLE TO WRITE A SONG BY JUST LISTENING TO THIS!
Finally hit 1,000 views! Congrats bro. I love this track. ❤
This is so good. Like so freaking good man.

Awesome bro! Good to hear it's still useful for people after all this time anyways!! :)
Great find!
Thanks! Glad to see people still discovering this. 😁

Sorry for the wait, but right back at ya. Love the channel name and concept by the way!
you are so cool. I will try it with my didgeridoo and other sounds....
This was good to meditate with, thank you.
Very happy it helped you. I really must spend more time meditating myself lol.
And of course there is more like it on the way!
I request some music specific to meditation. Please.

Yeah real ambient samples mixed with electronic is great.
I make music too but its not as chill as this...check out my channel when you're free...maybe we can collab one day...peace
Gonna try to jam along to this with my guitar

Around 4:40 ,and other spots during the recording , it sounds like someone is boiling water for spaghetti noodles
I'm using this a lot to improvise with acoustic guitar with open D tuning. Thanks!
