I just quick looked at my old Clymer manual the diagrams are very good but I didnt see any that showed the cyl and base gasket stuff. Of course it just says pay close attention to what comes out and put it back the same way.
Partzilla has the microfische exploded views on their website for these old engines that help in figuring out what goes where. They even have most of the standard hardware.

I reviewed my disassembly videos and I think I have everything straight now. It is odd that CT70 engines don't seem to use valve seals like XL70.

They don't have many, only go back to 75 and only list a QA50. I find www.cmsnl.com to be best, but still I didn't find a good enough view.
