Man, you are tough. If you miss that jump it is a possible hard fall onto a track. You don't get the benefit of all that bouncy foam you can place around the box in a gym environment. Well done! 👏👏👏

First off, warm up with some dynamic stretching. And if you are new to box Jumps, start with a height that is manageable. Say 12 or maybe 16 inches. Then progress accordingly.

How to improve knock knee

Question is how do I do this safely? I don’t have access to gym, but would like to progress in this. I can jump on a box with a height slightly few inches above my knees, but I don’t dare to try anything progressively higher unless it’s safer to fall. Any idea?
Secondly, is there a rule to how far you got to stand away from the box to begin with? Does standing distance corresponds with the height of the box?

I ruptured my achilles tendon box jumping. Had to have surgery and was out of commission for couple months.
