I don't understand why people don't like this album. The Brobecks had never made a bad song, including this record. While I understand Dallon doesn't like it because he didn't feel like he gave it his all, I can only see that in Goodnight Socialite because it because so much better in Violent Things. Not to insult the 2006 version or anything. This album has songs that just pop out, Sleeping Pills, Jacqui, You Or A Ghost, Heartbreak Or Death I can almost recite by heart and this version of Le Velo Pour Deux is just as good as the VT version, instead of taking a grandiose approach, this feels more orchestral. One doesn't sound better than the other becauss they both sound unique in their own way. I love The Brobecks
